I’m outside of Little Rock, Arkansas and the Dealership is in Hot Springs. We are actually pretty close by rail to the Kentucky truck plant in Louisville. I suspect the truck went from Louisville to Memphis by rail then a contract hauler brought it into Hot Springs. I’m definitely one of the lucky ones on shipping times.

I believe it’s a hurry up and wait thing. I haven’t talked to my sales manager, so I don’t even know if I’m off the ramp in Kentucky. Is the VVR the only source to get rail car information (car # for tracking)?

Great news. Looks like your delivery date is a few days ahead of mine. (I’m scheduled for delivery 5/31 to 6/6) I have to be in western Colorado by June 6th to teach a drilling class. IF it gets here on time, I’m going on an extended break-in road trip! 2,500 miles should do it. ?

Manko, you are correct. Ordered on 10/21 and scheduled for 5/2. I have to teach a class in Colorado the week of June 6th so I’m hoping to take it on a break in road trip.

My F-450 Platinum also went to production today. Looks like my truck and crashman-405’s are going to be cousins. ?

And my 450 platinum is scheduled for the week of May 2nd. Hopefully, I’ll be the pathfinder for y’all. I just spent half a day putting new axel bearings and brakes on my current vehicle. At the same time I’ve got another SUV down for a transmission rebuild. Guess I could always drive my old dump truck until this saga is complete. ?

I’m sure glad to see another F-450 getting built. I’ve got an F-450 Platinum on order. Hopefully my build week will quit pushing and actually go into production.

Yep, mine too. Bumped 4/25 to 5/2. F-450 Platinum ordered 10/21 I think this was my seventh bomb and I was really hoping for a reverse bump this time.

I’m sitting on an airplane right now instead of driving my (not built yet) truck over to the east coast. Ive got high hopes for the next western US trip scheduled for the first week of June. Original order 10/21 Scheduled build week currently 4/25

I’ve had my F450 platinum ordered on 10/21 originally scheduled to 3/7 and now pushed out to the week of 4/25. I’ve never been scheduled to the day. Just another data point for those trying to keep score in a game with ever changing variables. ?

I ordered my F450 Platinum on 10/21. Rapid Red with none of the avoidable constraints. Received the scheduled for production email on 2/1 with a build week of 3/7 On 2/4 the build week was pushed to 3/14 On 2/7 the build week was pushed to 3/21 On 2/15 the build week was pushed to 3/28 On 2/17 the build week was pushed to 4/4 On 2/25 the build week was pushed to 4/11 On 3/2 the build week was pushed to 4/18 On 3/16 the build week was pushed to 4/25 No email today…..

Ford tracking system has been up and down for a while now. Don’t sweat it, the glitch in the matrix will resolve sooner or later.

You’re farther ahead than I am. I started with a build week of 3/7. Then I got pushed to 3/14. I just got another email pushing my build week back to 3/21.

You’re absolutely correct and I’ll be getting with the guys next week. I’ve known these guys for years and don’t anticipate any issues. At the same time, it’s just good business to get the paperwork done and lock in the money.

There seems to be a fairly wide range of what’s been accepted as a “signed sales order” for the COVP. In my case, a copy of my DL and a signature on the build sheet was all that was required. I got the email confirmation for my order before I left the dealership back in October. More recently, I received my VIN and was scheduled to the week of 3/7. (Email from FORD) FWIW, that has now pushed to the week of 3/14
