Same for me as mattdm stated. I would have taken a stock truck and done the same thing. So yes, primarily for the looks. By ordering it with the Tremor package I only have to beg forgiveness once (purchase of the truck). Plus it is nice to have the off road features...not that I will be doing a ton of frodin. Just like other things, rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Ordered 5/19. Took delivery on 9/18. F350 Lariat, Tremor, 6.7, Lariat Ult, Black app....and other stuff. Had adaptive steering on the build. Removed it end of July. One week later it was picked up for production. Tri-Ford in Highland IL. First time ordering a vehicle and they were extremely helpful.

Sold a 1966 Nova that I couldn’t work on anymore. Went to a good home and I bought a truck.

Not trying to hi-jack this thread but I have a related question. This is my second diesel (first Ford) and the first was a Duramax. I used Rotella T5 syn blend and had no problems. Thinking about using the same on this new truck. Thoughts? What is everyone else using/will be using and why? If this had been covered somewhere else please let me know. Appreciate any advise!

Definitely not offended here. Can't hurt my feeling (only have one...LOL). Only giving a point of view from one who didn't buy the truck to tow. I do see/understand where those who tow/haul often would find it a bit crazy to buy such a vehicle to not tow/haul very much.

I will be the first to admit that I don't NEED the diesel (very little towing/hauling). I really don't NEED a F250/F350....but I want it. People can argue between what is needed and what is not needed all day long. Do people go out and buy a corvette/mustang/challenger/any sports car because they need it? Nope. For me, I am a guy with limited mobility and having a toy, such as a sports car, is physically impossible due to unable to get in and out of low cars without falling on the ground. I had a 66 Nova which ended up sitting in my garage since I was unable to get up/down off the ground to work on it. I sold it, used the money for a F350 Tremor w/Diesel. The truck is now my daily driver and toy (which can do whatever I need whenever I need). Now that I have the truck in my possession, I am just as happy as any guy/gal driving a new anything. To each his/her own. I will say that I know have a stick in the fire to try and persuade the wife in getting a camper.

Posted this earlier today….at about 1500 the Mach-E site showed the truck delivered while Ford site showed ETA 18 Oct. Called and truck is at the dealership. Pick it up Saturday

Woke up this morning and my excitement diminished. Originally showed my truck was built on 8/31, showed shipped (in transit) on 9/10 with a scheduled delivery date to the dealership of 9/22. Got an email overnight that it is now scheduled to be delivered 10/18. Anyone else having this happen? Crying on the inside Truck is moving from KTP to Illinois (about 30 miles east of St Louis).

Posted yesterday that mine has been scheduled since 8/30. Woke up this morning with the two emails (built email and shipped email). EXCITEMENT!! Ordered on 5/19. F350 Lariat Tremor w/black appearance, Lariat ult package, No AS (never had it so don't know what I am missing), and a few other things. Also have other offsite add ons (bedliner, console vault). Est delivery to dealer 9/22.

Mine has been In Production since 8/30....no changes. Guessing the delay is the bed liner. Waiting patiently like most everyone on here.

Must have option for me. The extra storage I would just clutter up. If you find you are needing/wanting it later then, as others have stated, just add it. My two musts were the safe and deleting the carpet. All others are for my wife and kids.

Not sure if it will stick. Ordered 5/19, got build week of 9/20 on 12 Aug. On Friday the 13th, I know right, it moved to build week of 8/30. Fingers crossed!
