This is very common with the diesel because Ford designed the fuel filter cap poorly. Anyone who owns a 6.7 should immediately purchase any of the aftermarket 6.7 fuel filter caps on the market. The factory plastic ones crack and spray fuel all over the engine compartment eventually catching fire if hot enough.

Finally got the call from my dealer to submit a FORM and pic of DL. I guess that means my order isn't scheduled or will be until all that is put through. Even though I placed order 5/8

I wouldn't worry. That email is useless anyway. Has no real information in it. As long as you called and they see it in the system you're good to go. You may want to check your SPAM FOLDER. The email comes from FORD MOTOR COMPANY. Thats what mine had in the FROM field.

No, look closer. That document says that week 6/14 they will begin scheduling for the 8/2 WEEK. SO they are now going to start scheduling those order that will begin production in August. It also says "this information applies to unscheduled orders only". Yours is already scheduled.

i literally got it like right away as an email. It came as an email from FORD but listed a specific dealer in email.. But you dont have to necessarily use that dealer. It gets tied to your information to FORD. It says F150 but thats because before teh Super Duty's I also inquired on F-150's.

Although not that fast because it was after hours, but I went to the dealership at like 5pm and gave them the BUILD Print out I did on Fords website for 2021's and they just added the same options under my 2022 order and by the next MORNING on 5/8 i had the Order COnfirmation Email from the actual FORD MOTOR CO.

Ice, have you heard if Ford is deviating from the norm and doing more scheduling today? Also to quote your other message. I wish more people in dealerships had your work ethic. My deal seems to be one of those order and forget it. Which I don't mind but I'm getting such SLOW responses when I wanted changes made, etc. I don't even know if they added my last changes. They weren't big deals (dual batts) but none the less it would be nice to just hear a follow up like yes they were added etc when I ask. I hate having to go in person LOL.

I was able to get one easily. I created a FORD account at Ford.com and then I went to TRUCKS, then picked an F150 (it doesnt matter). and did Search Inventory and just started pricing them out and selecting a bunch of dealers to send inventory searches too. I only had to do about 5 local dealers and very quickly I had the 1500.00 PCO that while it said F150, the fine print showed SUper Duty's. It had CERT# etc.

So, has anyone who got scheduled received the email? Or it’s all been via phone?

My order was placed 5/8. I just called the number and they show nothing yet. I'm noticing a lot over at the Ford Tremor Forums that have received VINS were placed in March and Early April. Maybe us MAY order will be tomorrow or next week.

ya I'm hoping to see my end of August or for sure sometime in September.

True but supposedly the plant where Ford gets almost all its chips is back to full capacity after the Fire they had in APril. So I think things will only improve instead of getting worse.

Ya I think people are overreacting for 2022's. I think those that have orders in now should see them no later than October probably September.

So that applied to the actual ORDER so it doesn't matter when you receive your truck right?
