Now that trucks are actually coming in, here's my payload: 4203 lbs - 2023 F350 Lariat Ultimate, CCSWB, 7.3, FX4, 4.3 Gears, Sports Appearance Package, 5th Wheel Prep I'm actually quite impressed by that. I think that's maybe 400 lbs more than a similarly equipped 2022???

I got a call from my dealer today that my truck will arrive between 4/20-4/26. Ordered an F350 Lariat CC, SWB, 7.3, Ultimate, Sport Package, 4.30 Gears, 5th Wheel Prep, & Wheel Well Liners on Oct 27. Window Sticker This is my first contact from anyone (dealer or Ford) since I placed the order. I never even received a confirmation email from Ford. I knew it would be a wait and never tried to maintain contact and have visibility of the build process. It would just drive me crazy with promises and missed expectations. The dealer did mess up by not putting my order in 99 Status. I asked for 99 status and wanted to evaluate some of the J2 items like BAP . I guess I'm grateful I'm liking the SAP better than the BAP now that pictures are appearing. I don't know that BAP is worth the price either compared to SAP. I didn't really like either wheel choice and probably going aftermarket anyways.

Although proprietary, the first two pages of the Oct. order guide lays out what trims would be built in Job 1. The King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited are "Late Availability" trims, ie Job 2. There isn't anything to differentiate between the different models, just trims. As far as the late availability items, I haven't seen anything come out yet for pricing/packaging. I'm in a status 99 too, just waiting for it to be made available. The information is supposed to be released in February with people theorizing that Job 2 scheduling begining in April. Further back in this thread, someone mentioned they just got the "OK to buy" status and the launch hold is now off. Nothing would have physically shipped prior to today.

and the chrome around the outside of the headlights which I think will probably be there for both SAP and BAP. This white pic is the SAP. The red pic is the BAP as far as what's been posted out there.

I don't know that you can make that assumption. None of the items listed on page 2 can be found within the rest of the order guide. I imagine when those items become available to order, they will appear in an updated order guide either as standard, part of a package or as a stand-alone option. For example, the hitch assist will become part of the Tow Tech Pkg at some point. For my Job 1 order, I'm not expecting it, nor do I anticipate them forcing me to Job 2 because of it.

The way I'm interpreting things is the hitch assist is not part of the Tow Technology Package until later. It's not listed as being there on page 29 of the order guide. I've ordered a Lariat with the Ultimate Package (which includes the Tow Tech Pkg) , showing a Job #1 Order.

I had to leave the dealership to it to catch a plane. Hopefully, they’ll get mine entered at some point. They did accept my X plan. I saw several posts about people saying it was going away but there’s at least one that took it.

My dealer got 1 order in and then it crashed
