I’ve never been a big gray fan, much less doing any of the black accents or anything like that. But the way it looks on these trucks I just love it. Honestly almost every color looks great but I’ve really taken a shine to the carbonized gray and black appearance. I’m so happy I did it and hopefully you will be too! It’s pretty slick looking straight from the factory.

Mine came in last week and picked it up middle of this week. Haven’t driven it much but have gotten a ton of comments from those that have seen it so far. Also haven’t been able to take any pics other than when it arrived last week. Hope everyone else’s makes it here soon!

If my vehicle reminded me to put both hands on the steering wheel, it would be on its way to the lot. That would drive me crazy. I didn’t even realize that was a thing!

I was at the dealer and heard them talking about this issue a while back. It sounded like when this happens at the dealer and the techs try to take them off, they take them off from the back ie back out the bolt itself. sounds like it’s a really common issue, especially if you’re taking it to someone to rotate your tires.

What did you use for the leveling kit? I’m doing the same but looking around to see what I should use.

I am but it hasn’t ever really updated for me for whatever reason. The tracker through Ford seems to show more progress.

Chadstickpoindexter, the date in the special order box is the invoice date. At the very bottom in the white portion of the label, just to the left of the special order box, is a date. The first date is the sent to plant date. Every time there’s an update such as sent to plant, built, shipped, delivered then that date is updated. At least that’s what I’ve been enlightened too. Mine had a scheduled build week for this week and that’s when I noticed the date changed this weekend.

Congrats! The window sticker on mine keeps going back and forth between 9/1 and 9/4 so i wonder if mine got built over the weekend. I don’t know how the holiday plays into the assembly so I just assumed nothing was being done over the long weekend.

I’m curious what defines a dealer stock order. Do the dealers develop their own builds from a preset list of preferences that typically sell in their area? I understand the retail aspect, just curious if someone went and ordered a truck if it would get switched to a dealer stock sticker if it matched something the dealer would order for themselves.

Mine was scheduled today for the week of 9/6. Got a VIN too. Funny thing is that I ordered it in early July, didn’t receive the confirmation until early last week and the email from today shows an order date of 8/2. Mine is a loaded out lariat with pretty much everything except Tremor, AS and moonroof. 250 CCSB Lariat Carbonized gray 6.7 UTT Black appearance package Lariat ultimate package 3.55 electronic Etc…. I certainly wasn’t expecting it to get picked up for a while still so this was a hell of a surprise. I feel for everyone who ordered months ago and still don’t have anything solid. I started looking last December and never found what I wanted so it’s been a long wait. Even thought about switching to the tremor package if it didn’t get scheduled. I have started to see a lot ‘22s on dealer lots that are stock orders here locally. Their prices are insane.

Thanks for the video link! That’s exactly what I had been looking for but couldn’t ever find it. I even measured a ‘21 tremor that I was about to purchase but didn’t pull the trigger cuz it’s damn close. At least now I know I can level a stock, put 35s on it and likely squeeze it in, makes me feel better about it anyways.

First time, long time. Thanks to this forum for all the information posted, especially ice and akirby. I placed my order back in early July and just got my confirmation from Ford. Seems like the biggest issue is dealing with the dealers that just don’t put any effort in figuring stuff out or staying on top of it. My dealer is no different since they wouldn’t even put the order in when the banks first opened up. Not a big deal to me since I don’t have any expectations of this thing showing up before January, if that. there’s a lot of information you guys put out and it’s been very helpful to just see the process and understand it.
