My grandpa was an over 40 year Ford employee as an oiler at a stamping plant. He walked off a ship at Ellis Island with his wife and infant son (my dad) in 1952 and was hired by Ford. I'm pretty proud of my heritage as a UAW family! He passed away last year. I'm also in a union for my job, although not for Ford.

I feel your pain! I bought a Ford fusion years ago.... First time I went out somewhere I was parked in a street. Some guy backed right into it, and drove off. It had about 30 miles on it. Fortunately he was remorseful and came back while I was filing a police report for a hit and run so I didn't also get hit with a deductible for collision work on a brand new car. I was so sad about it, though!

This was what was installed on ours when we picked it up. We selected the rear splash guards on the build which apparently cost nothing. I don't know if different dealers install different ones or how it works, but we thought these looked nice enough!

Picked up our Stone Gray F450 Lariat CC today! Upgraded from a 2013 F250 SC with a long bed (which we aren't getting rid of because my husband loves that truck....low mileage and never seen winter). It's so nice having a crew cab so car seats fit and I'm not on top of the dashboard....luxury!

I'm telling you, I feel your pain.... We've had a fifth wheel sitting in our barn for a year now unused waiting for our F450. Our F250 is way overloaded with it. We knew we needed a truck when we bought it, but never in a million years did we see it taking this long so we waited until a time when it would be in after roads weren't being salted. Big mistake!

Anyone have a hood deflector that they love? We have a Weathertech on our 2013 F250 that is totally fine, but I'm curious if there is anything even better. We thought about getting the Ford one that says Super Duty with Ford Pass points but it's absurdly expensive (seems like a waste). Any suggestions?

We have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up. I'd say I'll be up like a kid at Christmas all night waiting.... But honestly it'll just be my kids keeping me up all night like usual. ?‍♀️

My retired father drove right over to the dealership to stalk our truck after I told him the tracker said delivered. I'm a LITTLE jealous that he got to see it before us, but he did give me life so it's ok. ?‍♀️

I just checked the Mach E tracker and it says delivered!! Now I just know our trucks rode here together (or I'll just assume because that's way too coincidental)! They are Kindred truck spirits. ??

My August 31st premonition went out the window! The ETA on mine just got pushed back a day on the tracker. My husband called the sales manager to see if they can give any better idea on when it might get here. I think they find us annoying, but I'm sure they'll want us to pick it up the second it arrives so they can get their check! ? My guess is that both our WNY bound trucks will arrive the same day!

I can relate... We order Feb 13 only to have the order rejected and had to reorder as a 22. Now on the flip side, ours has been built, but it seems it may never be delivered. ?

Ours is probably sitting right next to yours waiting for a truck to pick them up. My husband is calling the dealership today for an update. It's hard not to get impatient when we've been waiting 7 months for a truck now!

That is the estimated total days of transit to your dealer. Ford provides a delivery range on their tracker...might make more sense on the official one. Looks like it shipped August 29.

Don't you think for such an expensive vehicle they could have tracking at least equivalent to FedEx (who constantly gets it wrong anyway)? ?

I know, I was chatting with him.... We ordered from competing area dealerships, but maybe they're on the same truck heading our way. ? I had a dream several weeks ago that the delivered date on the tracker said 8/31 (yes, I was dreaming about the truck being delivered.... I have serious issues ???). I guess we'll see if my premonition becomes true. Maybe you'll get a surprise call tomorrow! Fingers crossed for you!

Are you sure it isn't a special order? The window sticker usually specifies. I hate black vehicles and I've bought them a few times because they were the only ones available and were cheaper in both instances! ? However they were fusions so much less expensive and unique than a super duty. We have ordered both our super duties due to the very specific ability to select options so I completely understand the dilemma!

That's exciting! Ours shipped about a day after yours and we're also in WNY! I haven't asked the dealer for the railcar info, but I'll bet it's a little behind yours. It had a delivery window of Aug 29-Sept 4 but our salesperson said he thinks we'll definitely be seeing it by the end of the month.

We bought a GD Solitude S class 3740bh last fall, and upgraded from an F250 to the F450 we have on order. Watch the payload. They have very heavy pin weights on any of the solitudes.

That's very frustrating! It's impossible to call the Ford customer service line now, too... I hope your dealership is being helpful in checking.

Do you happen know if the seat configurations are the same between say 250 and 350 and 450? If you get a Lariat crew cab, it would be the same regardless of which truck? I'm guessing yes since the cabs should be the same, but I don't want to assume. And then the 2022s would be the same as anything from 2017 to 2021 if 2022 isn't showing up?

I just got an email that ours shipped overnight!

I received an email that our F450 Lariat CC was built yesterday with delivery estimated between August 29 and Sept 4! ? It's been a long wait (originally ordered a 2021 on Feb 13 only to find out 6 weeks later that it would NOT be scheduled and built ?‍♀️ , and that we had to reorder a 2022 which was confirmed April 2nd). There is a light at the end of the tunnel.... Hang in there, everyone! I guess the positive is that the RV we have been unable to use all summer is completely paid off now. ?
