  1. Got my 2023 F350 Platinum Tremor with HO engine. Huge improvement on the 2022 model I traded Quiter, feel the extra torque especially when towing, drives more like a half ton as is very light on the road. The steering is so light compared to my 2022 - feels like I have adaptive steering but dealer says not Smoother through the gears I debated heavily about the increased price but glad I pulled the trigger Larger payload creating more stability on the road with my 5th wheel. (approx extra 500lbs to 3780lbs) The cabin must be more insulated I assume as it is so quiet Prefer the 2022 seats but will get used to these Love the side and rear steps for easy access. I don't have the retractable ones - they clog up in snowy winter conditions Love the camera when the tailgate is down Front cross and rear sensor are wonderful Pulling into the garage or up to something the front camera comes on auto and the sensors alert me Hate the front break assist - Need to turn it off it seems very unpredictable :( All round I think this is the best SD Ford has produced
  2. Any comments on whether I should get the slider or not - 6.75 ft short box f350 I like the idea of the turnover ball and companion Any comments on the Demco autoslide as far as weight and eaze to remove so you have your full box use The pin weight is 2250 dry and the payload of the truck is 3250 lbs
  3. I finally solved this problem - bought another 2022 F350 Platinum The engine is so much smoother, seems lighter on diesel and much quieter Something must have been vibrating against something int he engine compartment but the dealer turned a deaf ear Salesman says he often gets comments from customers saying their new F350 Diesel performs differently and sometimes they are happier and sometimes not Seems it may be the luck of the draw
  4. I have 2022 F350 Platinum Short Box and bought a 2023 Solitude 310GK 5th wheel So many 5th wheel hitch options B&W has the Companion with turnoverball and Patriot - sliders available too and have to activate manually Demco has the autoslide so no need to get out the truck So looking at these 2 options Wondering if anyone has any experience in this area as I have none - I have been a bumper pull guy till now
  5. I get an irritating vibration with my diesel tremor but it happens when the idle drops to about 550 RPM. Increase RPM over 600 and the vibration goes away. Battling with Ford and Dealer to up the idle RPM around 650 -700 but so far being ignored. They refuse to give me the appropriate RPM range at idle when warm and what they are programmed for at manufacturing. Spoke with private diesel tech who said he can fix it easily but this would void my warranty. The fight shall go on
  6. It appears low RPM idle producing an annoying shudder is more common than I thought The dealer tells me they cannot increase the idle RPM Mine is just over 500 RPM and Ford suggests ideal idle RPM should be 680 As I increase idle RPM to around 600 + the shudder goes away Any one have any idea on how to increase this idle RPM to get rid of the intermittent shudder when idling
  7. My new truck idles beautifully but engage 1st gear and an irritating noisy vibrating noise starts until I start moving and RPMS increase So it is only when idling in 1st gear Drove a 2021 LTD before buying this 2022 and this did not occur and have test driven other 2021s before buying this one with no issues like this It idles at around 590RPM and was wondering what the ideal idle RPM should be When I 1st got the truck a week back this did not occur but suddenly started happening a couple of days back My dealer loves to push back on any concern with a little BS so have had to insist on fixing a few other things which they did and then after the fact agreed there was a problem So if someone could enlighten me a tad before I approach the dealer would be appreciated
  8. I eventually gave up and bought a 2022 Platinum Tremor but had to pay MSRP + GST It is on a train set to land within a few days I am convinced my dealer had more information than they claimed that if used I could have got my vehicle scheduled sooner. Other dealers in the area are getting these vehicles scheduled and delivered. Dealers covet too much information that Fords gives them alone and consumers do not have access to allowing them. Anyway I am thrilled in getting my truck very soon
  9. I guess its a sellers market - found an in stock 2022 carbonised grey platinum with tremor package but they want full list for it lol Never paid that before but I am so desperate I may have to bite the bullet
  10. Interestingly my dealer said if I delete adaptive steering then the vehicle goes up in price by $45 as there was a price increase
  11. I have the adaptive steering which held things up but as per rep to dealer this is no longer an issue
  12. Since Aug 12 was next round of scheduling and my truck is not yet scheduled does this mean that all scheduling is complete for this round or is it ongoing Any idea when the next round of scheduling takes place My 2022 Rockwood Signature Ultra-Lite 8337RL has now arrived but I have a wee problem not having a truck My 2020 Edge ST won't pull it lol ? Any enlightenment on this would be most appreciated
  13. Thanks for the info folks - Probably gonna have to visit my shrink as this is driving me nuts?
  14. Sorry - the vehicle is a 2022 F350 Platinum
  15. Placed my factory order on March 17 2021 already. Should I not have a manufacture date at this stage - Dealer always very short with me and not giving me any information
