Hi blackboost, Yeah, that’s how I feel too. Two days ago I booked with dealer to have oil change on engine and differential, alignment checked and trailer brake reflash. When I asked why the diff service was so expensive, only wanted oil changed, the girl went away to ask why and came back to relay a snarky condescending explanation from some smart ass tech. Today I cancelled the service visit coz with that episode and the points thing, why should they get more cash off me after giving me a shafting on the purchase price to start with? Never going back there if I can help it.

Was not able to download FordPass app onto my smart phone at the dealers when picking up truck in October, despite multiple attempts by salesperson and manager. Finally did it at home couple weeks later and created account. Thing is, they never never explained about the points being awarded for purchase, or the advantages gained, or said you have to link truck to it within 60 days to get the points, now I want to get engine and diff oil changed and steering alignment checked out ideally using points of course. In trying to find out where I stand, ended up calling Ford marketing who put me onto FordPass customer help who told me the dealer should have advised about the 60 day period and because that has passed, I’m sol. He said Dealer is contracted to advise customers of said period and I should speak with a manager, not salesman, to see if they will compensate me in some way. Haven’t asked yet, but does the forum have any opinions on the likelihood of this happening? Their performance smacks of sharp dealership practice to me. TIA guys

Like some of you guys, I’m a big believer in timely oil and filter changes, some say anally so. I’m driving my first brand new truck, a beautiful F250 Lariat and she’s just rolled over the 1000 miles, so can anyone tell me that if I ask him nicely, Mr Ford will change all oils and filters for free please? Any obvious answer to this question has evaded me despite scouring reams of paper and dozens of posts. TIA

Got my F250 CCLB 7.3 Lariat Antimatter Blue on 10/1. Still has less than 1000 mls and haven't had any quality concerns as such so far, fingers crossed. Was miffed about there being no navigation worth having, not even a free 90 day trial which was far from clear at time of ordering. That and had issues getting Carplay linked to the truck, but a call to customer services helped solve that one. Aftermarket bed spray looks really good and had ceramic window tint applied locally. Overall so far I'm very pleased with her and love the color. Sorry to hear some of you guys are having issues.

Hi Guys, hope all of you with new trucks are as happy as I am with my beauty, One thing though, took delivery on 10/1 and was able to bring up and use navigation, but just recently when I hit the screen nav button, it comes up as 'not available, needs activation, go look at Fordpass app when safe to do so'. So has anyone else found this happening? Has the nav been locked out until the truck appears in the app? I'm not convinced enough that I want or need a FordPass account after reading how some have had problems with it, just want my nav back! TIA

Picked up my F250 CC LB Lariat last Friday, 10/1 about a week earlier than advised by Mach E and around seven weeks from order date. No PCO available unfortunately, was issued back in March. She's a doozy and the Antimatter Blue paint looks just amazing as sunlight brings out the color and subtle metallic sparkle according to how it strikes. My first truck, I'm over the moon, made exactly the right choice for me, not one regret. Drives beautifully, feels great, the 7.3 Godzilla is quiet and smooth but has that menacing V8 growl many of us love. Bed's getting sprayed tomorrow and hope to fit the BAKflip MX4 and Duraflaps at the weekend. Good times.

I had originally intended ordering bed spray and complete 5th wheel package but changed my mind before ordering with out any prior knowledge of commodity hold ups....purely for other reasons, don’t have a trailer yet and spray can be done locally. Am I ever glad I did that.

It is a total cluster that info is so seemingly scattergun. Empathy goes to all of you left in a state of limbo over this, I would be climbing the walls in your position. Hang in there.

So just found out truck has been delivered and will be ready to pick up in a few. Rock on Tommy.....will soon be a big trucker. Yeeeehhaaaa!!

Fl. Good luck to you. The date at the bottom of the window sticker gets updated at intervals. Not sure what this signifies. Now at 9/25/21.

ETA to dealer was quoted to be 10/9. Salesman texted today saying it's in state and likely to be delivered earlier. Hope he got it right cos I'm stoked now!

Original week from Ford posted on 8/19 was 9/20 and that was brought forward to 9/13 two weeks later. Well, fortune smiled on me big time. Ordered 8/15, F250 was built this week and this morning I got notification that it had shipped!! ETA between 10/3 -10/9. Yeeehaaaaa. Can’t wait to see my shiny new baby. Thanks to you all for information and tips gathered during only the last few weeks. Sincerely hope you all get yours before 2022. Steve

Seems like sometime this week sticker would show. Shows production is scheduled for the following week. I think!

Hi , newby here. Been looking through the Q’s and A’s , getting some great info and certainly seeing I’m far from alone in being excited about my first ever truck and for that matter, first ever new vehicle of any type. F250 Lariat, 7.3, cclb, Antimatter blue (gulp).Ordered 8/15, confirmed 8/16, first build week 9/20, then moved up to 9/13! Wow, that’s tomorrow!! Had VIN in two weeks, (almost peed my pants), window sticker on 9/10. No AS, sprayed liner or any of that stuff, seems like that would have helped to move things along. Must be one of the lucky ones, I see some of you have been waiting months. Bummer, that would eat me up, hope you are all finally satisfied when Henry gives up. Can’t wait to bring that baby home.
