  1. Just black out pack (spray in bedliner) and 5th wheel prep. I don't understand why it took so long to get scheduled. I'm just hopeful the difficult part is over and maybe the rest will be more streamlined. At least can't take as long as it did to get scheduled.
  2. Is anyone getting bumped to the 21st or the 4th order before July? I'm wondering if they are shuffling around schedules based off order date. They moved mine from March 21st to March 14th. And I ordered May 21, 2021.
  3. Your at least protected from them selling it to another buyer as long as you had a COVP order. You should show up and speak to them in person so they can't ignore you. When you get the truck check the miles and make sure they don't do something sketchy like allow people to test drive your new truck. And ultimately where you got proof of ford policy doesn't matter. It's the fact that they want to rip you off is the issue.
  4. I was a priority 10 from the start. And I have a diesel scheduled for production March 14th ordered May 21st. I get so irritated when people lie about things that really are not necessary to lie about. Any lying is bad. Just saying. And I was a priority 02 when I got scheduled.
  5. Got a better email... moved to the 14th as well! ?
  6. I definitely understand the idea of getting the majority of dirt off before the auto wash. I'm sure the dirt turns the soft brush washes turn to sandpaper with alittle dirt.
  7. I wonder if anyone has ever built a home made quick wash for there house? One that doesn't do soap. Lol
  8. I really don't have time to schedule with a Detailer as often as my trucks get cover in mud and dirt. I move dirt a lot to raise parts of my property. So my truck gets dirty aften and looking for a good solution to keep it clean without damaging the paint.
  9. Your entire underbody is covered and sprayed with all the dirt and water and SALT on the road way. so your underbody would make since for them to have a basic filter for the large partials and just spray the used water from the car wash to save on water. Your only going to add salt and dirt to it seconds later when you exit the car wash. You are still knocking down a large amount of salt and dirt buildup compared to the amount used to get rid of the amount of buildup you have. The build up is what causes the majority of damage. Anything that stays wet for extended amount of time will start to rust or corrode. If it is allowed to dry then it will take longer before it will rust or corrode. *or the car wash just does not care and they are still doing as advertised* lol
  10. You can add the console safe and trailer backup camera on any new super duty truck that came with it or not. Your sport appearance package will cost a lot more to add later. If you got a under MSRP price on your order. You probably won't on your truck off the lot. For the amount you pay for the truck off the lot. You can wait for your order and have your sport appearance package, console safe, and trailer backup camera.
  11. I worked at a place with a car wash before. They will refuse to pay for anything that catches the brushes because it was "loose". However could because I have also had loose headed people go through the wash thinking the soap and brushes won't rip there side mirror off. (Held on with duct tape). And expect the company to buy them a new side mirror. This wash was also at a gas station where you could just purchase and enter without assistance.
  12. I don't have a garage to put it in so I might try some kind of protectant. But I feel better about using the wash if you haven't had the issue with 5-7 years using the automatic washes.
  13. A co worker mentioned something about a product they use and nothing sticks to it. So dirt and everything just slides off with a garden hose and no pressure. I feel like he is talking it up. But I going to try and find out what product it is.
  14. Your paint looks amazing still! Is the 303 nano do good to protect and prevent scratches?
  15. Wait? So there is still set time with the paint after I pickup my truck?
  16. The place I go has cloth strips. And I never noticed any issues. But the truck is also a old beater covered in scratches and chips.
  17. Do you have any special maintenance to her? Waxes or protectant?
  18. I have a membership for car wash on my 05 truck. Paint isn't great so don't really care. But for my 2022 F 350. I'm alittle more concerned about keeping the paint nice. How does everyone feel about automatic car washes? What's been your experiences? Should I use some kind of paint protection? Or doesn't matter? Or avoid at all costs?
  19. I'll look it up and repost here. But my first assumption is that maybe it was doing a regen at the dealership. That just seems early for a regen though. Not sure how often a diesel regens. My 05 chevy duramax is 100% deleted. Enough power to take out the stock allison and a stage 2 built allison in 3 months. Had to make some charges and order a 2022 ford. ?
  20. Did not know the cow piss part. However it's not just water... it's deionized water. (The part that makes it very corrosive)
  21. Salesman too. I don't know if my original Salesman that's lied to me and had poor communication and no drive to help is still my Salesman or not. Cause the Salesman that fixed the fact that my email wasn't in the system is the one that called me the day after I got my scheduled email. Can Salesman be changed after a order is placed?
