You can always swap out the badges with black ones when it comes in if you got a XLT. I found some "We the People" badges I really want that I might replace mine with on my Lariat.

I was wondering the same thing. I think I have only seen the chrome badges on XLT trims with BAP. The Lariat trims have the black badges with the BAP. Don't quote me on that, its just my assumption.

It doesn't mean he is wrong. Just informing you of the risk not knowing the manufacturer of glass that was used.

If you do not get a confirmation email then the dealer did not put your email in the order. It took me months before I was able to get the right person at the dealership to pull it up in front of me. After asking my sales guy for months to put it on my order and being told it already is when it wasn't.

WOW. I would have never thought about tint causing a window to crack. I wonder why it would crack the sunroof/moonroof but not the side windows. I am going to have to do some research on that one. That will for sure make a difference in deciding to tint the sunroof/moonroof or not. Did he say anything about if it made a difference on the % of tint? Maybe sunroof/moonroofs are just so much more work to install and he is so busy he wanted to try and avoid having to do the job. Has anyone else experienced a cracked sunroof/moonroof after tinting?

That is almost exactly what I am looking for! I don't care if they know a person is inside, however I don't want a clear view of what I am doing or what is inside my truck.

I'm was leaning towards the 20% but visibility is important to me so I'm considering the 35%. I'd like to see if you can see the person very well through a 35%. From elevator picture... I can see that is perfect to keep others from seeing inside. I'm just hoping the 15% difference is way more clear view out and keeps the privacy from the outside.

Your probably spending between $60-$90,000 dollars! You should make your salesman and his manager do there job. Expessually if it's such a easy task as a order preview. When I really thought that through I made it clear to them I will not be ignored. And with the help Ice and akriby and cyberman. I had more then enough information to show them they can't feed me bullshit. And thanks to them and others I feel more confident I will have enough information to keep them from attempting to apply any price increases when my truck arrives.

35% is legal limit in most states. So I am trying to stay legal but we will see what it looks like when see it in person. I may go 30 or 25% ?. But the 3M security sounds good. As long as it also does the heat reduction. Otherwise I'd rather replace some few hundred dollars in items and a window. Than a few thousand in damaged doors and windows. Cause they couldn't get through the first window.

When my F-350 arrives one of the first appointments I am going to have is window tint. Any recommendations on tint percentage? I have also seen them advertise as much as 98% heat reduction. Can anyone say if that is accurate or just a sales pitch? I'm told they can do a very low tint with the 98% heat reduction on the windshield and sun roof. Does anyone have experience having had this done and do you recommend it after you got it?

I told my salesman I don't want any advertising of any kind outside of basic license plate trim. It's a custom order not a truck off the lot. I don't want stickers or stuff bolted on my truck that's going to leave marks if removed.

If you keep the BAP and 5th wheel prep. I have both of them but....no tremor and no AS. I have been waiting since May 21st. Good luck on April. Might consider making sure you have a backup plan.

Are you using the as built file for forscan? Or is there another use for the as built file?

Maybe it's just the combination I got between color options and the two commodity restrictions. There has to be one other item. Each time they don't have or already assigned to a easier order. But I am happy for you that you got scheduled so quickly. I'll just keep dreaming one day I'll get that scheduled email. I'm sure I'm not the Oldest order so I'm not alone in the wait.

His timeline is impressive. Wish I got mine scheduled that quick. Maybe one day.

I actually just noticed the all weather floor mats on my order... does anyone think that could be holding my order? My dealer hasn't said a single word or hinted at that as being a commodity issue....?? ?

That's the options I'm told is holding my f350 lariat from getting scheduled. As I've said a few times on here I ordered May 21st. Still no sign of it getting close to getting scheduled. Priority 2 and non of that apparently means anything. I still fear I will be forced to reorder a 2023 and have to pay the price increases. At that point I might just drop my order and everyone that asks why I didn't buy a Ford. I'll just say "I tried" ?

I would very much like to see a picture of the console display of the front camera from someone that has a bumper already. I want to see how much is obstructed with the added bumper. Even more so if someone has the 360 view! How much does it affect it.

And I called steelcraft and they said all the bumpers come with a adapter now to fit the new led style fog lights. I live on the river. So I have deer on my road and backyard often.
