Finally the truck is finished. Carli 2.5 pintop, deaver leafs, fuel covert 18”, wheels, 37” ridge grappler (maxxis does not make a razor at 37x18), Baja designs lights, dual arb, bed liner, and bakflip tonneau. First trip was to north padre national seashore for spring break. 60 miles south to the Mansfield cut fuel covert 18x9 with 37x12.5x18 ridge grappler, did well in the sand @ 30 psi our campsite @ mile 8, perfect. No neighbors!

I was pleased to read this today, ran across this at dealerships in Grapevine Texas and Fayetteville Arkansas when shopping, 10k over MSRP. If a lumber yard did this during a hurricane they would be in trouble for price gouging. Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Co. are clamping down on dealerships that are trying to charge more than the sticker price, a tactic that has proliferated amid the car Ford Chief Executive Jim Farley said Thursday that dealers who engage in this practice will face consequences, including losing supplies of future models. While waiting on my 22 f250 I have been researching wheels/tires. I already have the carli 2.5 pintop system with deaver rear springs and have not made up my mind on wheels. My current truck a 15 f150 had a 4" lift with maxxis razr at 35x12.5x18 and vision machined wheel. The truck I have on order is the same color as my f150, I plan on putting on bronze wheels. I have come back to this Fuel Covert wheel several times. My plan is to get them in 18x9 and put on 37x12.5 Maxxis RAZR AT. Anyone running these wheels please share some photos. I like the stance of this truck but 40"'s are too big.

I posted this to see if there was another build in the same situation. My hope is it is a chip hold and gets cleared up soon. -

Thanks, not too concerned about the gps/sat radio antennas. Just the roof height for kayak racks. -

Today my dealer sent a current VVR, confused by the status date and why it has not progressed. She has put a call into her area Ford reps to find out. I suspect a chip hold but am confused by the lack up updates too. I tried pulling the AS Built data file but it is incomplete, not sure when it is generated. 10/29/2021: Order confirmed 11/18/2021: Scheduled for production 12/20/2021 cyberdman searched and found "scheduled to start production on 12/21, but it has not started" -

I have had that happen too, this was new. I tried a couple other vin's I found and had the same response. Has to be a ford issue. -

Those milage numbers are great, what size tires are you running? -
I'm guessing here but the LED lights generate no heat whereas the incandescent do and probably allow the moisture to vent. I bought LED replacement lights for my 97 Jeep TJ. I recall there being a discussion about using them in winter climate because they would not melt the snow/ice. My 15 F150 Plat w/ LED does not have this problem and I assumed there was something inside to heat them.

I've been tracking my order on the ford site since getting the email stating the truck was in production 12/20/21. When tracking via ford I normally get a response that the truck is in production, today the page replied with "We're sorry. We are unable to process this Order. Please enter a valid Ford Order/VIN." Is this just a ford website issue?
