How long are trucks usually in production? My window sticker shows 4-14. It went into production 4-14 but still shows in production. Could it be waiting for 5th wheel prep across the street?

I have 2 builds under my name. One is for my brother. order B014 vin # 1FT8W3BT5NEE38677 shows in production the other order is B012 the last email I got was a delay email. Ordered at the same time. any info would be very much appreciated. thanks for helping us all out, I’m sure it’s gets really annoying. also if I broke rule 12 by asking about a second vehicle I do apologize. I thought since technically it’s not my vehicle it was ok. 

I ordered 11-9-21. I never got bounced around I did get bumped up a week but my dates have never changed other than that. My brothers truck also identical is not scheduled yet. Mine will be on a trail I think before his is scheduled. Seems like there is no rhyme or reason for the order of operations.

After builds are scheduled how close to build date do window stickers become available?

cash here too. But this is company money. I do own the company but still I don't want to. If I were to finance some of it I would use an equipment loan from my bank and wrap up trucks plus all accessories and take the tax write off in a single calendar year.

I ordered 11-9-21. Got my vin 3-17-22. Build date of 4-25-22. delivery should put me around late May. I tried to pull the 5th wheel prep 2 weeks ago and it wouldn't let the dealer do it. My build sheet still showed it on there. I don't think that pulling it was going to speed me up very much. I have 2 trucks on order though. One for me the other for my brother. I have not gotten a build date for the other truck though so I'm hoping it does come this week. I didn't get an email showing a delay but its not for my truck its for my brothers which leads me to believe that his was about to be scheduled and they delayed it. dealer checked the deals email and its on his order not mine for sure. So my 5th wheel prep got scheduled and his has not been scheduled. Ordered the same time. Pulling it is a toss up

I can't get the number of orders ahead of me. I've tried but they dodge that question pretty well. I wouldn't mind having the B&W instead of the OEM. That's what I have right now and I like it just fine. Just hoping it speeds up my order.

I had the dealer pull the 5th wheel prep from both of my orders today. I'm having some reverse buyers remorse. I want my truck buck I also wanted the OEM hitch set up. I'm being told in theory that should speed my built up for sure. Anyone in the same boat? I see plenty of prep trucks getting built but definitely not mine and I have no other issue that should hold me back as far as I know.

I dropped everything but the 5th wheel prep. I'm worried about not putting it in because the camera packages and all the bed wiring is different. I dint have very much faith in the dealer doing anything after the fact. Has anyone had good luck doing 5th wheel prep after the fact?

I get the same thing from the forum but my dealer says that is not the case. Not like I really trust the dealer on anything.

My dealer has not told me how many orders are ahead of me in line. As far as I know I'm not being held up by any commodities issues. I would pay just to move up in the queue at this point.

I'm in the same boat. I ordered 2 trucks on 11/9/21 and other than a confirmation the same day I've heard nothing. The dealer who I bug once a month says it still says clear and awaiting scheduling. 5th wheel prep but no AS, bed liner or Cover. I'm getting really tired of waiting. Dealer originally told me 10-12 weeks worst case scenario. Have multiple people I know getting truck left and right who ordered 6-8 weeks ago. No ryme or reason to how and when things get scheduled it seems.

For sure guys have waited longer. most guys I personally know in the last 6 months at my dealer have been waiting at max about 10 weeks for trucks to show up after being ordered. I got a confirmation on both trucks about 2 hours after I put the orders in. Dealer changed my priority from 19 to 11 about 10 days ago. I'm more than ok waiting as long as I know they aren't just sitting there waiting on an option my dealer or myself can install when they show up ya know. Like 5th wheel prep. that's so simple my dealer could have it done in a few hours.

That's great to hear. how long did your whole order take from entry to arrival? I'm getting settled down about the wait by now but you know how it is. other than this forum everyone I personally know has been super happy with Corwin that's why I went there in the first place. congrats on finally getting your truck delivered.

is everyone seeing commodity holds on sunroofs and 5th wheel prep packages still? I rebuilt my whole truck after having to change so many things. I don't care so much about the sunroof so I would take it off. I ordered 2 trucks one for me and one for my brother and don't have vin numbers or anything yet. dealer says nothing should be holding us up. Ordered 11-9-21.

It sounds like everyone hates Corwin around here. I have 2 trucks on order with them right now. both 350 powerstrokes. I too have to drive to the dealer to get communication. A Budy of mine got his in a few weeks ago. it showed up out of the blue after about 7 weeks with zero communications from Corwin. He called them 3 weeks after doing his build and they told him there had been no activity. Then a few hours later he gets a Ford email thanking him for placing an order. I put 500 deposit on each is all but I'm annoyed that spending roughly 180K doesn't get me some updates. I have 2 more vehicles to buy in the next 6 months and they could care less about earning my business. I went to Corwin because people had bad experiences with Kendell. Should I go shop around or what? Ordered 11-9-21. order acknowledgments from ford that day and crickets since. tried to go in and ask about allocation and priority number changes and they told me wait 2 weeks and if there has been no activity they will change my priority number. I just want my trucks already.

Thanks for the insight on the moonroof. It makes since why I see my exact build sheet besides the moonroofs being scheduled for production. I looked back at a few in the spreadsheet and I can see no moonroofs.

for sure. I learned on my last Ram purchase never to trust a salesman on timelines. I really just want to be the lucky guy this time and have my built be the 7 week build ya know. I'm not that lucky it seems.

I haven't seen or heard anything about the sunroofs holding up builds. Am I missing something here? congrats on your trucking getting done so fast too.

I've seen multiple trucks get delivered within 6 weeks of ordering. even a quick scan on this thread shows a ton of people waiting 8 months and some waiting for 2 months. Good buddy of mine had one delivered at the 7 week mark from the same dealer I ordered from and that was a fleet account.
