  1. Ordered 12/29 with confirmation within an hour. Notified of scheduling on 1/27. Built 3/14 and delivered on 3/26. I was fortunate mine moved quickly through the system. Lariat Ultimate FX4 Sport appearance package, camper package, 6.7 diesel, console safe, mud flaps and wind screen. Dealer had Line-X spray in the bed liner and put in B & W turnover ball hitch the day after delivery. Was a little concerned it would be too much 'red' but it turned out perfect. Especially after adding the 20" Fuel Covert wheels.
  2. Here as you requested is a picture taken about 2 hours after it was unloaded at the dealers lot last Friday. One of the fortunate ones as mine was less than 3 months from order to build. Thank you for all your help and the service you provide. It is much appreciated.
  3. Hello, Checking to see if it's any closer to Oklahoma! VIN - 1FT8W2BT6NED83697 Thank you!
  4. Looks good. What offset did you get? I have no idea what that even means in wheels. I'm more than likely going to get them in 20" as that's size tire on my truck currently.
  5. I was having the same questions. My build week was 2-28 with a build day of 3-2 but nothing happened and then the plant was closed the first week of March, then, like magic, I got the built email on March 15 and a shipped on the next day. It all happened at once.
  6. Hello, Bumping this in the hope of finding some movement on this. VIN - 1FT8W2BT6NED83697 Thank you!
  7. Key word is 'might'. You never know; it could've made the last train out. At least yours got built last week. Mine has been in production with no date on the tracker since the 23rd.
  8. That's what a lot of dealers here were doing, even one I had dealt with on multiple occasions. I guess it's Loyalty be damned. I get MSRP but anything over on a special order is nothing but greed. I went 30 miles in the other direction and had a dealer willingly take my order for MSRP.
  9. Custom orders is my guess. No need for them to sit on the lot. Off the truck and into the customers loving arms.
  10. If anyone knows different let us know, but I'm guessing that when KTP is shut down next week, the place where they put on the secondary items like console safe, tonneau covers and more will continue to operate as long as they have parts in stock. I wouldn't think they would lay off more workers than necessary and hold up more almost finished builds if they had parts. My build week was 02-28 but not a peep more than 'in production' on the tracker. Hopefully it got built, if not I guess it's a bit more of a wait. https://fordauthority.com/2022/03/2022-ford-super-duty-production-once-again-impacted-by-chip-shortage/
  11. Good Friday afternoon. I'd like to find out about status on this. Scheduled for week of 2-28 Sales code - F52618 Order number - R435 VIN - 1FT8W2BT6NED83697 Thank you for your help.
  12. Mine changed to 03/03 today. Originally was 02/24. Still don't have a date on the tracker under 'in production' though.
  13. Is the Ford tracker website still showing yours as 'in production' with no date or any thing else?
  14. Mine also went into production on the 23rd. I got the Window sticker on the 24th but nothing since. Tracker still shows in production and nothing else. Mine is a Lariat Ultimate SBCC SAP FX4 6.7 w/out the bed liner or or moon roof and no 5th wheel prep. Driving me crazy now that it's so close!
  15. I think the blue turned out great! Mine is Race Red so I'm not too sure about how that would look. I might ask LineX but I think I'll stick with the black. I'm used to it anyway from other trucks.
  16. My understanding of how that works from this forum and others is if you're truck doesn't get built as a 22my your order would be cancelled and you would have to reorder as a 23my with any price increases that includes.
  17. Each dealer might handle this differently but I'd talk to the sales manager or higher and say exactly what you wrote here.
  18. First dealer I went to to order my 2022 SD, where my family had bought several vehicles previously, justified their 10k markup by saying that since there weren't as many vehicles to sale they still had to make the same money. Was a way to make themselves feel better about it I guess. Then he told me even on a special order it was 7k over MSRP. I laughed, told him he not only lost the profit off of and MSRP special order sale but also the profit off an '18 SD trade in and future service. Drove 30 miles the other direction and ordered my truck without any ADM. They were amused at the story.
  19. I honestly have no frame of reference on how a Super Duty gas is power wise. How do the gas F-350's tow a heavy load compared to the diesels? I realize there might be a power difference but is it enough to justify the extra cost of a diesel motor plus higher fuel prices? I know, at least from older trucks, that one advantage gas had was they were generally cheaper to fix than diesels. Does that still hold true in the newer motors? Figured this is the best place to ask since I've been wondering or a while. Thanks!
  20. I also went from a 2005 6.0 which was a good truck as well once the bugs were worked out. I know I can tell you the power difference between the two is astonishing. Currently I have a '17 XLT SRW FX4 with the 6.7 and am waiting on a '22 Lariat 6.7. I've changed the oil every 7k-7500 miles and honestly that's about it. It used specifically for towing and has about 54k on it. The only issue I've had is I got some bad diesel last summer and it was a pain in the a** to clear it out and get full power back and have the warning lights go off. I had to drain the filter underneath about every 50 miles or so, but there was never any water in it. The dealer I talked to said the bad fuel had to work it's way through the system which it finally did after almost 2 full tanks of good diesel and 600 miles of driving around Oklahoma highways. The newer ones seem way more sensitive to fuel issues than the older ones. If I had it longer I know I'd probably do more but that's all I know for mine.
  21. I ordered a Lariat sport package in Race Red. Almost changed it to Rapid Red, then Atlas Blue made a run but I stuck to the original color. Saw one today in Race Red very similar to what I've ordered and I'm glad I didn't change my mind. The Atlas Blue is pretty cool though. Shows dirt a bit more than I would like. The Gray is pretty sweet also, so many different colors you could accent it with if you chose.
  22. I didn't order in January but on 29 December. I got my build date yesterday. It's scheduled for the week of 28 February. I'm like you; it's driving me nuts. Dealer told me about a month to get scheduled, another month to build and another for transport, rough estimations, and he's pretty much dead on so far. Mine is a F-250 Lariat Ultimate, FX4, Sport appearance SRW in Race Red with UTT, 6.7 diesel and 3.55 Electronic locking axle. Good luck!
  23. I got the same thing from a dealer we've bought multiple vehicles from. They wanted and extra 7k just to place the order. I drove about 30 miles the other direction, found a good country dealer who sells a lot of trucks and bought it from them without any ADM. Talked to the salesman from the original dealership, who was actually a decent guy, and made sure he told his sales manager they not only lost the profit from an MSRP sale but also the trade in profit from an '18 model super duty. They had some hokey explanation about what they were doing it but to me it was just greed. Especially when they said they were willing to negotiate the 7k. It's too bad people have short memories or places like the original dealer wouldn't last. I'm not saying I'll never go there again, just that any loyalty I may have had to them for first look is gone forever.
