  1. bshort, I guess I'm not paying enough attention, I meant that post to be directed at thread owner WNC, I guess I need a beer...your truck is newer than WNC's.
  2. Sorry to read of your frustration. Maybe listing your truck configuration will help others know what you ordered and which options you selected. There are a handful of options that have been holding up orders for a long time, AS, spray in bed liner and 5th wheel prep are the most notable. A good dealer knows this and reaches out to the customer and notifies them that if they don't cancel those options, the order might not confirm for 29 or more weeks, that's what my dealer told me almost a month after I ordered on 12/7/2021. After removing those three options, I got my order confirmation a few days later, now my truck is in production after 5 date slides totaling 6 weeks.
  3. Congrats EB, I think my build will happen very soon, my truck went into production on 3/15 and I have no 5th wheel prep so should be any day now. Enjoy your new truck when you get it.
  4. no email, I stated that in my reply but maybe I worded it in such a way it wasn't clear. "my 2022 F350 KR SRW CCSB 6.7L with console safe and Antimatter Blue went into production on 3/15, got window sticker but I have not received this email delay. I already had 5 delays before it went into production, so another delay is going to suck.

  7. Ford 10-speed TRANSMISSION 10R140 Internal GUTS opened up - Look What Happened!! - YouTube This video is about early 2020 10R140 transmissions that experienced a harsh shift from park to drive and vise versa. I read yours is a downshift from fourth to third but it might be the same or similar issue that is causing a harsh downshift to 3rd. Apparently there have been several updates on 10R140 after 2020, pretty sure I've seen a few articles talking about early 10R140 issues but were fixed on later models. I'll keep looking into this to see what I can dig up. Best I can tell, In this video, the transmission is getting swapped out for a new one after the issue was resolved at transmission factory.
  8. Does anyone know all the options that get installed at GFX or some other offsite supplier? I understand the 5th wheel prep, bed covers, spray in liners get installed offsite from KTP but are there other options that get installed offsite that could delay builds like wheel well lines, mud flaps, console safe for example? Thanks
  9. Thanks, I guess I should have known California leaders use superior thinking as compared to the rest of the country. I know that high speed train they spent billions on is the envy of the world.
  10. NW, do you know why fuel prices are around $2 more per gallon in CA than AZ or the rest of the country? Is there a state fuel tax imposed by CA?
  11. EB, yes, that is what he was trying to get us to look at. When I looked at your window sticker, it showed in production and so did your tracker, so your truck is in some stage of build. If they complete the build and it goes across the street to get the 5th wheel prep, it may not show as built, I'm not sure. But I think your wait is nearing it's end, that's my opinion since we're not privy to the details. Good luck EB and I hope you get your as built data soon and the tracker shows "built" too. I think my truck too is in some stage of build, either paint or staging but I suspect mine will change from "in production" to "built" very soon. My schedule build week is 3/21 which isn't far off but when I see it built and as built data is populated on Motorcraft service as built site, then I'll know for sure. 12. Yeah Paul, nothing under BCE yet so must be still being assembled or painted or something.
  13. so don't count my chickens yet, right?...lol...What do you have on order Harry?
  14. For the last two days, BJs diesel has stayed steady at $4.66 which is a good sign we may have reached a temporary plateau and hopefully won't keep going up and will start going back down.
  15. I think my wait is almost over, my truck is in production as of yesterday, window sticker showed up late today. I suspect my truck is being built right now and will show built later tonight or tomorrow, we'll see. I ordered on 12/7/2021, tomorrow is 3/17/2022 so that will be about 4 months from time of order which is not bad considering what others have had to endure and 6 weeks of schedule slide to the right. 787Toolman
  16. I looked at your order on the tracker, it's in production so way too late to delete 5th wheel prep, I'd have to say it's built and getting the 5th wheel prep done or is staged to have that done. I'd bet it's build and off the line but I'm assuming since the dates on your sticker show 3/3/2022 and 3/11/2022. 1022 is your order number, the VIN was listed on the sticker, with those two things anyone can see your order but no big deal.
  17. This posting process will get you 21 posts in 3 days to create enough posts to ask Cyberdman for info on production status, haha. Good call boss...
  18. I haven't heard anything but then again, I have no inside connections, just read and ask questions. I'd be surprised if 2023 is a major change since they did make a good many changes in 2020 and 2021.
  19. Harry, If you cancel your order and order a new truck from a different dealer, won't you have to pay the base price as it is today or when you place the order? My salesman tried to tell me I had to pay the price increase that happened the day after I ordered, the sales manager said he didn't understand that the order is price protected and so I get the base price that was in effect on Dec 7th 2021, price went up $1295 on Dec 8th 2021.
  20. My sales manager texted me today, he said Ford notified him my F350 CCSB 6.7L KR in Antimatter/Stone Grey is in production. I asked why the tracker doesn't show the same, he said the tracker will show in production when it actually is being built, then it will show built usually the same day or next day depending on time it's actually assembled. He said the dealer has a level of visibility that is greater than the tracker. The online public order tracker basically lags behind what is actually occurring is the way he explained it. So apparently when the truck actually starts to be put together, painted, engine and transmission joined, and all the parts staged and ready the dealer gets notified in production, but the public tracker will not indicate this. But once the truck is actually moving down the assembly line, I understand that's when the public tracker shows in production, then when it's completely built, it shows built, seems kind of useless but okay. My scheduled production week is 3/21 so not sure if that will change or stay the same. It looks like things are finally moving and I'll see something more definitive here shortly. The wait is almost over but like I say in my signature, I'll know for sure when it arrives at dealer, not before. I ordered on 12/7 so I didn't have to wait nearly as long as some others on here, thankfully. I guess the truth police will arrest me in a few minutes after they call out any misinformation, lol. 787Toolman
  21. Grumpy, I used the rubber mats for every truck since 1989, then for the 2017 F350, it came with spray in liner from Ford and I've had good sucess from the spray in. On my 2022, I had to drop the spray in but a local LineX can do it for $550 with a longer warranty than Ford offers. LineX rep told me Ford uses LineX chemicals for their spray in, I don't know if that's true but I have no reason to doubt it. To be honest, I may look into a rubber mat for my 2022 F350 since they work great for me, not too expensive and don't damage the paint. I never liked the drop in liners as the plastic is too hard and slippery and stuff in bed slides all over the place and after paint gets rubbed and chaffed to bare metal it rusts steel but since 2017, Super Duties are made of aluminum it will not rust. For me, if steel, rust is unacceptable but for aluminum it's a much different type of corrosion and doesn't necessarily create same concerns as steel corrosion since it doesn't wear through like steel but I digress. For me, I may go for a rubber mat so I don't have to leave my truck for hours or possibly overnight, sidewalls of bed for my uses don't really need much protection but fender wells maybe will get scratched without spray in. At this point I'm undecided on mat or LineX. 787Toolman
