  1. I fully realize this topic has been discussed numerous times. With this being said, a new reason has surfaced from our dealer. Our truck has finally arrived after 7 months and the dealer is resisting to lower the price to the previous price point when ordered. Per the general sales manager, the dealership has not been getting reimbursed. As such they are resistant towards honoring the price protection. They claim they've been in contact with the VOPC and now the request is being routed to corporate. Highly doubt we will get an answer and they are just further prolonging this to see if we will pay the extra 2k. Any advice anyone has at this point would be appreciated. We've already shown the Ford memorandums with no luck.

  8. Hi just checking the status specifically build date. VIN: 1ft7w2bnxned86258 Thanks.
  9. Yes time will tell. It makes sense from a projection stand point given the backlog.
  10. Agree. I have mixed experiences with ford marketing. Usually they defer to the dealer on a lot of things.
  11. Good luck to you. Hopefully it gets scheduled soon. It seems things may be improving when it comes to scheduling.
  12. I’ve been using a saved favorite to get to the site since the link doesn’t work.
  13. Greetings, received confirmation this week my F250 is scheduled for 3/14. I saw a bunch were pushed back a week. Is there anyway to receive these updates. I’ve asked the dealer twice to add my email to the order with no success. Any suggestions?
  14. When is your build date? I ordered 10/4 and still don’t have a date.
  15. Congrats to all those who were scheduled. Those who were not scheduled, I feel your pain. 4 months in counting on Friday. Here’s to sticking with the BAP package despite all odds.
  16. I’m also Oct with Lariat F-250. I refuse to drop the BAP given that is the only thing holding up my order. Been sitting at Priority 2 for quite sometime.
  17. Everything I’ve read is that if you remove the bedliner it automatically removes the BAP. This is also holding up my order.
  18. And another week passes by with a Priority 2 F-250 with the BAP. ordered on 10/4
  19. And another week passes by with a Priority 2 F-250 with the BAP.
  20. Haven’t heard anything. Ordered on 10/4. Currently sitting at Priority 2 with BAP.
  21. How did you skip the spray-in with the black appearance package?
  22. Thanks. I recently went past the sales person to the Sales Manager to add the heated steering wheel/rain sensing wipers. I was told they couldn't modify the build and they would reach out to the Regional Rep, prob b/c I'm a priority 2. It's been three days with no response or follow up. My build is pretty simple F-250, 7.3, BAP, and Lariat Value Package.
  23. First post but I've been reading through the forum for a couple of months now. I'm trying to figure out how allocations/scheduling is done. I'm aware there's been a variety of posts/topics that speak to this issue. Given I ordered on 10/4 (F-250, 7.3, BAP, Priority 2) and still without a build date I'm somewhat frustrated. I've had zero communication with the Dealer and every time I ask for information there is zero to little comms. So I figured I would dig a little deeper. When running an inventory search on ford.com you can obviously filter by truck and package. Which allows one to filter by BAP which is a known commodity restriction. As such, I've seen various dealers in my area and across the US securing F-250 BAPs with upcoming build dates given population of window sticker. When looking at the window sticker their invoice was well after mine. This does include the dealer in which I ordered from. This does not make sense to me other than it could be an allocation problem with my dealer but at the same time if the dealer is receiving these trucks and invoices after mine I cannot find a reason for it. As much as I want to believe there is a methodology to scheduling, I'm somewhat doubtful of it.
