Dealership says Ford no longer supplies the fabric manual holder/folders. I'm not buying that. Who else has bought a 2022 Super Duty that did or did not get the fabric manual pouch?

I want to get a little mileage on her and then we'll be taking our first camping trip with the travel trailer in tow. Looking forward to seeing how she tows. Expect good things.

Does the Super Duty come with a fabric manual and document folder like the F150's? I got my manual and stuff in a chinzy plastic dealership book.

The out of state buyer fees questions seem like easy questions for the dealership. Have you approached them with your questions?

Just got the call. My truck is at the dealership. Monday it'll go out for spray in bed liner and then the "4x4" stickers on the bed will be removed. Hate those tacky looking stickers. Pick it up Tuesday or Wednesday night looks like

My salesman emailed me telling me he is traveling until Monday and he expects the truck to probably "be there" by then. I still don't have the rail car number. I may call the sales manager and request the info. I feel a little deflected. This is the first time I am anything other than pleased with my experience.

It's not at the dealership. I drove by tonight and looked around.

I just emailed my salesman for the rail car number and the carrier. I think that's CSX for the northeast but not sure.

Today my truck entered "Final Preparation" on the Ford tracking website. What does that mean? Also, where can I get my rail car number? Dealer? Someplace else?

Is order tracking down or am I just experiencing issues? I put my info in that returned results a week ago and now it just goes back to the same page where I put my info in. Nevermind. I got it to work in a different browser.

I'm glad I didn't order the diesel. I'm in the middle of a Western New York to OBX camping trip using my Father's 78,000 mile 2000 F350 dually diesel supercab and I can tell you I won't miss diesel on bit when my 7.3 gasser arrives. I don't think the diesel gets much if any better fuel economy towing as my last truck got (5.4 3V). It got about 8. The dually, high 9's maybe. I expect the 7.3 gasser to deliver the same-ish. Don't get me wrong, the dually tows amazing. So stable. The 7.3 diesel doesn't car about my travel trailer being behind it. But it's a noisy, rattling, smelly thing. I'm sure the 6.7 is unbelievable and paired with the 10 speed is amazing, but the break even for that upcharge will never happen under my ownership. Between that and pumping diesel from pumps that somehow are always filthy when I do find them and def....well...that can be a thing for someone else. If you are a diesel guy more power to ya. Just not for me.

What's the emissions issue with the 6.7?

I got the email Friday AM that my truck shipped. WOOT WOOT!!! Hope any delays are minimal in any.

I got the email this morning that my truck has been built!! Now the delivery wait begins .

It's my build week. I check my order status every morning and again in the evening. No update changes so far. Just "In Production" status. Is the online order tracking website real time or just "maybe they will will update if they feel like it" ? What has been other's experience with the tracking website?

Is a scheduled date of production listed on the window sticker?

I knew it was discussed, but it was pages and pages ago. I'd never find it. I know I may have to demand they honor price protection. Hopefully not. So far my dealer has been pretty good.

I just compared my window sticker MSRP to the printout from the day I ordered my truck and it's over $2000 higher. I know pricing went up but shouldn't it be what it was at time of order?

My dealer offered me $38,500 for my '17 F150 and said if you keep the miles near what it was at the time, the trade in offer would be honored. I don't daily the truck so it only has about 36-37K on it and since ordering the F250 I've put a couple hundred on it tops. Hopefully their true to their word. He also said if I want to sell it to someone else they are fine with that too. In the end it's just dollars to them. Of course this was after a long talk about the business and my Father as he knew my Father and that my family owned a Ford dealership for 35+ years. I keep nda know how the business works.

Ok. Took a couple minutes but it came up. In Ford speak, what does "In Production" actually mean? Is it actually being built or has the order been sent to the factory to be built next week as the most recent email says?

I'm guessing that no tracking results means there is nothing to track yet?

Ok. Mine is a letter and 3 numbers, but returns nothing when I put it in it returns nothing.
