  2. Agree! the LEAST Ford could do is what GM is doing and retrofitting trucks later when the parts are available at no cost to the purchaser. But definitely doesn’t sound as if this is the case since we are required to execute a document that specifically states we are not getting massage functionality NOR ARE WE GETTING LUMBAR SUPPORT. Just another little surprise in the acknowledgment form from Ford
  3. GM is doing just that by retrofitting vehicles at no costs when the parts become available. I also learned that it is NOT JUST the massage function it is also the lumbar function as well. Total BS
  4. I agree but NO you get to have your gag reflex or sphincter checked by Ford with no say so either way. This just allows them, Ford, to say well we don’t have any more XYZ widgets so we are going to substitute whatever we want and give it to you. Take it or leave it as the truck will still sell either way and we get our money so the only loser in this scenario is us the consumer who put our faith in Ford to build what we ordered and many of us paid a deposit on. sorry you wanted a hamburger with cheddar cheese we decided you will love our tofu burger with a smattering of ?
  5. I bet Ford didn’t send out something telling all the lightning order holders that no multi-contour/active motion seats. Bet that’s where the modules and parts jare going. Still beyond pissed. I will take the truck just to keep the dealer from profiting an insane markup and then I will sell it and buy another brand. Done with Ford after 38 years of loyalty.

  7. Obviously Ford could care 2 cents about selling me those seats as they are making a lot more off us customers who ordered the packages that hd these seats then to crap in our face with a $300 credit all the while still selling a $90k truck that is less than what we bought. All they are looking at is cash flow and revenue. So what they give a $300 credit when they are delivering and invoicing $90k trucks
  8. Ford is screwing everyone that went to the trouble of ordering the truck they wanted if you ordered a king Ranch ultimate, platinum or limited. We paid a premium for a package that included the active motion seats and Ford has decided NOPE not gonna build them with it and we(Ford) will give you $300 credit. Hell I would have saved money and ordered differently or not even traded my ‘19 KRU if I knew I couldn’t get the truck I wanted and would have to settle for whatever Ford feels like providing. I am really going to be pissed and Ford will lose a 38 year committed customer if the ‘23 super duty has active motion seats!!!! so what’s next Ford ? I sorry but we are gonna give you non-platinum seat leather and a $30 credit or maybe just give you an XL instead ?

  10. Sound similar to my ‘19 f250 with AS but my tire pressures on the 20” Michelins were significantly different. I ran 60 in the fronts and 65 in the rears. I cannot attest to it but am very confident that this was the nameplate pressures per my sticker. Truck never wandered at all and was a dream to drive

  12. As other have mentioned could also be related to the duratrac’s. Many have said they need to “break in” and the wandering stops. Keep us posted.
  13. Don’t have me new non-as truck but my 19’ had AS and I never knew it till I sold it and seen it on the sticker. Just from basic review the actual steering geometry isn’t changed from as to non-as that I am aware of. The change is within the steering wheel itself which based upon Ecm feedback changes the ratio of steering wheel input rotations to steering shaft rotation. This in of itself would not impact tracking(wandering). Having said this where I can see some potential is that any driver input whatsoever on a non-as truck will translate into tire movement which would affect tracking. The interesting thing is that yours tends to have tracking issues when accelerating or decelerating which leads me to believe you are into something with you previous assumptions. imho I do not think that non as is the issue
  14. While I agree to a degree why are some of the issues mentioned ever making it out of the plant? Stevie Wonder could see incomplete paint items at door jambs etc as well as grossly bad seat cover installations. While these issues are not egregiously widespread they do exist. The most widespread that I have personally seen in loose or incorrectly fitting rear seat covers.
  15. I use mine on fence lines etc. Way better than RoundUp!!! And way cheaper too! Well maybe not soon ??
  16. Curious if anyone has noticed an impact to the quality of your new truck ? Has the impact of pressure on 3rd party vendors rushing to supply parts/products for Ford along with Ford attempting to push units out with supply chain and labor issues caused a noticeable degradation of quality? This is my fear yet all the while I am with the mob bitching because I want my truck. I don’t have my truck but I have personally witness blatantly obvious issues with very simple things such as seat covers, incomplete paint at Jambs etc. What happened to quality is Job 1 or is it still as I understand with any mass production that things slip through?
  17. Well I am not surprised that I didn’t get picked up for scheduling. I did reach out to my salesman to go ahead and add AS to my order since I checked and the parts are physically available to purchase from ford parts and not on back order(very very expensive as just the steering wheel assembly is $2800 plus it looks like a special steering box is also required $800). Salesman told me that cannot add AS to any super duty at this time period. I think this is bs since I am unscheduled and have not been previewed. Can anyone confirm ??

  20. Care to share what you here the constraints are?
  21. I want it because my last truck had it but I also don’t know if I could really discern the difference. Can anyone say whether it’s still a constraint? Surely someone has some intel. My dealer said he would add t if I really wanted it since I don’t have a vin yet. Are trucks actually getting built with AS now?
  22. I placed my order in early February with every conceivable option, well almost no As, no console vault, no tonneau cover, no mud flaps and no bedliner as I have them in hand waiting to install once I get the truck. F250 platinum should I take the risk and add AS as it seems platinum’s and trucks with AS are being built now? Yea r am I going to set myself deeper into purgatory? I know at one time AS was rumored to be a significant constraint(+26 weeks). I really want AS but not at sacrificing my truck production till the end of the year

  24. I guess no one has an answer or we already know more bs and limited scheduling. Maybe I just don’t want to know!
