  1. The trade-in value when I ordered in the beginning of February for my '14 F-150 was between 15-18k roughly I believe. Now I think it has dropped almost 1k to 14-17k. Something like that. I know it has dropped about 1000 in just 2 months.
  2. Dang that is crazy! 4 sounds like a dream compared to that, sorry to hear that though. I hope that it is still a quick process for you. I totally understand though, I cant pick it up before June 1 anyway, but I still have trouble being patient! haha. Good luck!
  3. That makes sense, basically, the listed commodity constraints are guaranteed to cause delays but that's not to say that other parts won't have unexpected delays from time to time. I financially cannot pick up the truck before June 1 anyway due to some occupational things, but I'm not too worried about that at this point. I keep saying now it's not about how early it will come but how late haha. I spoke with my dealer though, if the truck for whatever reason does not get scheduled before say the end of May, then I will likely trade in my '14 F-150, buy something to tide me over (I'm thinking a Raptor if I can find one cause I'd love to experience that for a few months) and then trade that in when the order is delivered. I'm worried about the value of my current truck rapidly decreasing, and he said that as long as I buy a temporary vehicle that is brand new then that should work to solve my concerns. My theory being that a new truck will not run as much of a risk of breaking parts and won't lose as much value as my current truck. It's all very complicated but in my head this makes sense.
  4. Awesome, thank you! I also understand that my order has a lot of options and I would infer that this has at least some effect on how you are picked for scheduling. I don't have any of the commodity restraints such as 5th wheel prep, spray-in, or AS, but with more technology and options comes more chips/parts so still keeping my fingers crossed. If I don't hear anything next week I'll probably get in contact with my dealer just to see if anyone behind me got picked up instead. I'm past the two-month mark with no VIN but I know this is not at all anything special compared to others haha. Hopefully I'll get an email next week, or rather I hope they are scheduling next week. I guess we will find out tomorrow when Ice sends out his weekly scheduling reports! Just glad to know that the "next scheduling cycle" doesn't automatically mean next month! Thank you!
  5. "Allocation for 2022 Super Duty orders not already previewing on this morning's AM Preview Scheduling Report as selected for scheduling tomorrow will roll over to the next scheduling cycle." @ice-capades Hi everyone, just looking for some clarification as to what this would mean for my situation. My dealer has an allocation for April and I am the oldest and "next" order in the queue. Does this mean I should expect that because I did not receive an email this week that I may/will next week? Or does this mean that my dealer's allocation for April will now change to allocation for May? I guess I'm unsure as to what the next scheduling cycle is considered. Thank you!
  6. Keep in mind that although you may have ordered around the same "date," much of the determination for wait times comes from the number of orders at your dealer. For example, I ordered mine 2/9/22 and am looking at being scheduled this month according to my dealer as I am already the oldest order at my dealer. This is because there were only 4 other orders I believe when I placed mine. From my understanding, many people who ordered for example in August and are still waiting is likely due to the fact that perhaps their dealer had 50 other super duty orders when they placed their own. This means 50 orders had to be scheduled before theirs was "up next." Of course, you have to factor in different priority codes and constraints, but I think for the most part everyone is priority 10 with no constraints. Not trying to be a smart ass! And you may already know this, but this is my understanding. I could be wrong as well, if Ice sees this or any of the other mods I'm sure they'll correct me. I wish you the best of luck though and hope that your process is exactly how you are expecting! TL:DR Lead times are more directly related to the number of orders ahead of your own rather than the date your order was placed. Edit: I want to note that there are obviously more reasons you may or may not get picked up (part/chip shortages, trim level, plant scheduling) but I just wanted to address what I think is one of the biggest reasons.
  7. Testing to see if my signature is now working
  8. This has literally made my night Ice, I SHOULD be scheduled this week based on what my dealer has told me, or at least later this month. However, I'm so glad that they are getting back up and running cause obviously anything they produce for someone else is one step closer for me!! Thank you Ice!!!
  9. Yeah, I reached out to a friend of mine who I believe ordered in January, he got it as well. I ordered 2/09/22 but I'm at a small dealership so I actually think my truck will come in before his even though he is a month or so ahead of me. Crazy how that works.
  10. I agree, I'm not one to bash them, I know there's nothing they are doing on purpose, obviously the more trucks they make the more money, but it is nice to hear something.
  11. Exactly how I felt opening it haha, placed mine 02/09/2022 !
  12. Good evening all, I have just received an email about my 2022 F250 KRU order, this is the only email I've received since the order confirmation. Definitely not the email I was looking for. My dealer has allocations for April and I am "next-in-line" at the dealership so I'm hoping they will resume scheduling next week and I will get picked up. Just curious if anyone has gotten the same email before or if this is in direct relation to the unexpected April shortage. Thanks!
  13. Very much agree. I took off the factory option, but my dealer was extremely accomodating, they said that when the truck comes in they should have it back the next day with the bedliner. They told me the company they use for LineX only takes a day to get it done, and I'm confident they will schedule an appointment ahead of time so I'm expecting only 2 days at most and I will not have picked up the vehicle yet so I will still have my old truck during that time. Just will add another day or two to the order process, but at 5-6 months by then I won't be too concerned, Although for your situation trying to be without a vehicle is a hard thing to do. I also think that if you do it privately, sometimes you can get a better application. For example, if you do it at a private location after your truck is delivered you may be able to request rolled edges. I'm not sure if they do this at the factory. Although there is a price difference obviously, it was cheaper for me to get it done at the factory, but when the truck is already over 80k I told them I wasn't too concerned haha. An extra 5$ on my monthly payment won't kill me at this point.
  14. I also have an antimatter on order and I was speaking with my dealer and they basically said the color match is cool but with the antimatter youll probably not really ever see the difference lol. I would love to see what it looks like just out of curiousity. He also told me that especially for people using their bed frequently and using some sort of tonneau cover, the LineX Ultra or whatever its called thats "not supposed to fade" is pointless. If you have it covered youll never really see it and if you're using your bed itll get scuffed up either way. I've always looked at bedliner as strictly a protective measure, however I am enjoying how it seems to be becoming a new aspect for people to possibly customize with their truck builds. I would love to see some of these color matched liners on the two tone $100k+ builds that are out there nowadays.
  15. Good morning Cyberman, I understand you will proabbly not see this until the weekend. Was waiting to see if they were scheduling this week, seems S though they aren't. Might as well check. Bump for update Order Code: T207 Sales Code: F27451 The truck is an F250 King Ranch Antimatter Blue.
  16. This is good to know, I know it isn't a huge deal but I do think it is silly that they have the page on the website but it doesn't seem to really work. Dealer notes that I am next in line as I am the oldest order and has allocation for April, I'm expecting to be scheduled sometime in April and then with the VIN at least I will be able to utilize the tracking page! I'm excited to see your truck come in as I like to live vicariously through those getting their trucks now. I see you've been waiting nearly a year (sorry if thats a sore subject! haha) so I can only imagine how excited you must be! I'm looking forward to the feeling of sitting down and connecting to the app, hoping the best for your shipping experience and seeing the truck once it comes in! Thanks for your input on this matter!
  17. Thank you! This is what I had figured, once it gets scheduled I should get a VIN and be able to add it and I would assume it would populate as an in-progress order and show the little tracking bar that everyone has. Thats my hope at least. Just wasn't sure if other people had experienced this issue.
  18. I would like to add/agree that any negative experience people have is likely due to their dealers or rather their opinion of the dealer's delivery of service and not the fault of Ford factories. There is only so much they can do to get your order through, and likewise, there is only so much your dealer knows and can do. However, I've apologized several times for calling my dealer and asking questions but they always say, "You are paying us for a service. There is no need to apologize, this is our job." If you have a good dealer they will understand and be willing to help in any way that they can. I feel bad for those who have waited nearly a year for their truck, but there is no one person at fault here, and you can't be upset at your dealer for not giving you answers as they only know so much, but as long as they tell you what they can I would be satisfied. By now, most people should know that nobody has the answers they want and that all you can do is sit back and wait no matter how frustrating. I'm just grateful for the resources provided on this forum and can only hope to be scheduled soon as I am now the oldest order at my dealer, however, I also recognize that my truck has lots of added options and could lead to more simple builds squeezing past me due to the availability of parts.
  19. Good morning all, I noticed this issue a while ago but had not thought to create a thread about it. When I ordered my truck I was not in town at the dealership, but due to my relationship with my dealer, they were able to place the order for me despite being out of town. When they placed the order, they used the same email as the one I have listed on my Ford account. I received the confirmation email the next day, however, if I log in to Ford there is no listing in my account underneath the Orders tab. I am assuming that maybe once the order is scheduled and I have it will show up on this page or once I get a VIN I can add it to "My vehicles" and then it will show up. However, I was curious if it was normal for the order to not show up already in the unscheduled-clean state. Thank you!
  20. I ordered Feb 9 but didn't get an email last week, I'm hoping that next week I will, as this week they are not scheduling this week, but I know I should be the next order at my dealership! Hopefully, yours doesn't get pushed back too much, and maybe you'll have it before the end of June!! Very jealous haha
  21. One of the reasons why the first thing I'm buying is a Ranch Hand grill guard whenever the damn truck comes in. Personally, I like the look anyway, but also an 800$ grill guard is much cheaper and stronger than the front clip LOL. I'll take a damaged grill guard over a damaged truck any day. Also will be installing the tremor valence. I also think these "safety devices" as some have deemed it will rarely make a difference. I'm no engineer but if I'm gonna level my truck and put 37s underneath of it I don't think those tiny pieces of steel are gonna save much. At the end of the day, I'm worried about my safety and the look of the truck that I'm paying for. hence why I will also be putting a large hitch on the back, I've had a hitch save me twice in two different trucks from rear-end incidents. Many people may not agree with me and that's totally ok, but I personally think considering those steel triangles "necessary safety devices" is a little bit of a stretch. I think they are more likely placeholders as you have mentioned as well as a sort of support for the larger valance. The amount of wind pushing against that valence at 80 mph is considerable, and I personally think those pieces are for the valance to push against so it stays straight and stable and doesn't snap in half.
  22. Haven't gotten an email and noticed that they are not scheduling this week. However, I spoke with my dealer yesterday who is extremely helpful and they noted that I am now the oldest order at the dealer. I don't have any commodity restraints at the moment and should be next up. They said they still have April allocation so I should get picked up next. my hope is that I will get scheduled for late May (although it's looking like that may not happen so maybe June?), I assume I'll get pushed back a couple of times and then MAYBE have the truck come in late June or July but it likely won't be until August. I know this is a little bit hopeful but I think it is also possible.
