  1. LMAO!!! No, somebody at that dealership knows EXACTLY what happened. I would be PISSED!!!! Better call that lawyer.
  2. I would like to know how many of us have had their dealer actually reach out to them with updates, even if it is just a simple "no movement yet, just letting you know we are still here and doing what we can to move things along." I ordered 1/19 and have not EVER received a call from my dealer with an update. I have reached out to them about 4 times asking for either an update, or deleting items from my build to move it along. My dealer is in a small town of about 6000 people, maybe has 4-6 Superdutys on their lot at any given time prior to 2020. You would think a phone call to their customers with a short update even once a month would be nice. I would love to help educate them about how to handle their orders, but I'm just the customer who has never worked at the dealership, what do I know? Sorry for being the debbie downer, but seeing this poor communications between dealers and customers is just sad. If the truck was on there lot right now, they would be calling me every day till I sign the papers.
  3. At this rate, I feel like Platinum/KR/Limited orders are rarely going to get built. Just know, I hate all of you that are getting scheduled today lol I would pay some good money for someone to talk to the sales manager at my dealership and walk her through how to properly manage orders because she is flipping clueless but then again, so am I. She schedules every single vehicle at priority 19 and just keeps telling me it will make no difference to bump me up. Oh, and she loves to say how these forums wreaked havoc on dealerships because "someone is giving out information that should not be out there." No joke, that is who I am dealing with. Unfortunately I live in a small town and there are no other dealers around me unless I want to work with someone 4+ hours away. Congrats on those that have received the scheduled email.
  4. I thought this was interesting, I was just messing around on Fords build site, and they now allow you to select a bunch of options, unlike before for the last month or so. But I was putting my platinum build together and noticed the "multi-contour delete" option. Is this a potential item that could be holding up the build times for platinums/KR/Limiteds? If so, I will gladly remove that to get mine built quicker. I assume this is just the massaging part that is deleted? Not the actual seat cushions and leather used in those trims? Maybe someone will chime in and give me some more detail before I call my dealer and ask for the delete option
  5. So I guess I am a little confused, I ordered my platinum F250 with the 10,000/9,900 GVWR package. Is that higher than what comes standard? Or lower? Their website does not show what the standard is and I prefer whatever the higher GVWR rating is. Want to get this fixed if I got it wrong.
  6. Seems like plati's are just rarely getting built. Same with KR and Limited's. Obviously they have much more standard options that require more microchips and such. But I have seen a lot more XLT's and Lariat's in just the last few weeks. I ordered my Platinum back in January 2022. So I am not too far along in my waiting process.
  7. Man, that is more information you got from Ford then I ever have when I call. Sometimes I call and get no info and will call back 5 mins later to get someone else. No luck. They just tell me to talk to my dealer...who also gives me little to no info. I am hopeful that Ford plans to get all orders fulfilled prior to moving over to the 23's
  8. We all had to start complaining at some point. I am sure those who waited 8+ months for their build may have had a thing or two to say after a few months of putting in their order. I am okay with the wait, it's my dealer that stinks. I am grateful for this forum and especially this thread as it gives me a ton of information. But once I bring up some of the topics I learned on here, the dealership wants me out of the office pretty much. It's like we know top secret intel and they don't want to be made a fool of when in reality, I just want a little transparency. For example, my dealer will not tell me how many other orders are ahead of me and will not move me from priority 19 and will not tell me how many allocations they currently have. But that is their right to give me that information or not and I respect that, but it still leaves me in the dark at the end of the day.
  9. Right? Like, show a list of the build and put a checkmark next to what they have and what they don't have lol anything is better than nothing. What sucks is it could be something as little as heated rear seats holding up the build and I still won't have the option to opt out of it as it is standard on Platinums. I could careless about that feature. I can't stand the thought of paying 80k+ on a used Denali or Superduty, but I can't say I haven't thought about it.
  10. Yeah, I figured that was what you had done. I just called them and did the same, still "processing" which is no surprise. I ordered a platinum without the big three commodity items on 1/19/22 so I am sure I got plenty of wait time ahead of me. Dealers are absolutely useless to get updates from.
  11. So did you not get an email from Ford saying you were scheduled? Did you call Ford Customer Service and just give them your order number?
  12. The only confusing part about this post was how he explained the priority codes. All I have been reading the past few months is how retail is between 10-19 and stock is above 20 if I am remembering right. He mentions how his retail order could be a 20..etc. Maybe certain things have changed since 2015 when the post was created? Who knows. Great post though. Explains so much.
  13. Anything on my build I should look at removing in order to speed things up? I know nothing is promised but I am willing to let go of things I can either add later on or live without. If nothing on my order is holding things up then ill just leave them on. Dealership is almost useless when I talk to them. Ordered 1/19/22 and it is a Platinum. No other updates on the build process.
  14. Nope, in fact my dealership let me know up front that they do not have the techs/inventory to even offer dealer accessories haha I said "Say less" and ordered right than and there.
  15. I have morimotos in my 2019...They are no where near the quality of OEM LED lights. That is just my opinion though. I personally would not swap OEM LED for Morimotos.
  16. Wait, for real? I just went into my dealer today (not saying they are right) but they told me it would roll over whatever stuff i have on my order that the MY2023 also use...That was the main reason I went in because I didn't want to have to start over from scratch.
  17. So, this has been on my mind a little bit lately. I have the wheel well liners, all weather floor mats, cab lights, and I think the block heater as my only add ons for my Platinum. I removed 5th wheel prep, spray in bedliner, and adaptive steering. Would removing any of these help my chances of getting through the hoop faster?
  18. I have a Platinum, but no schedule email. Only email I have ever received was the conformation email and an email last week about the delays. Would love to be on that schedule email.
  19. Man, I wish I had your kind of scheduling. I ordered 8 days before you and havent heard a peep other than the "update about delays" email that I got last Thursday. Seems like those with the 7.3 Lariat Ultimates are getting through a lot quicker than Platinums and the 6.7. Maybe I am wrong.
  20. So is this Fords way of keeping us on our toes? lmao. This is the very first update I got since the conformation email.
  21. I think the standard stuff that come with a plati are being added on with Lariat Ultimate packages ( heated steering wheel, LED lights, adaptive cruise...etc) and from my understanding, that is part of why you can only get certain items added to your order. For example, you can not build a Lariat with LED lights. That may be different if you go into the dealer and build one out, but on Fords website you can no longer select certain items.
  22. I ordered a plati on January 19th. No word from my dealer or ford. here is my build, -22' Platinum F250 4x4 SB -Star White -6.7 Powerstroke -3.31 Electronic locking axle -All Weather Mats -Rapid Heat -Block Heater -Wheel well liners front & rear I took off 5th wheel prep, adaptive steering, spray in bedliner back in early february.
  23. Would it be wise to just eliminate all the add on stuff and just go with what is standard? I got it with the powerstroke and 3.31 locking rear diff so obviously those wont go. I am not impatient by any means, I went into this knowing it was going to take several months. But if there is something on my order that is optional that can be removed and possibly speed up the process, that is something I would be interested in.
  24. I would like to see an updated report on what items are currently on low supply. I have a 22' F250 Plati that I ordered on the 19th of january. I took off the 5th wheel prep, spray in, and AS about a month ago. Have not heard a word from dealer and so far I have been the only one making the phone calls for updates. I ordered with cab lights, front/rear wheel well liners, rapid heat, all weather floor mats and now you can not select any of those on fords website. Been this way for weeks.
