What would constitute managing it “properly”? Setting all orders at 10 vs all at 19 would make no difference since that priority is only relevant to that dealer, IIRC. If a commodity “restrained” order can’t be built due to that, it doesn’t matter if it’s at prio 10 or 19. It still won’t get built.

I don’t see how an incorrect email would cause that. You still ordered it. It’s not like they didn’t submit your order

Has anyone gotten a “you’ve been scheduled” email yet this morning?

That new red with BAP looks phenomenal. Between antimatter blue and that red, they are neck and neck for best looking new colors. Sort of wish I got out of my comfort zone and got one of them. Settled on Carbonized Gray with BAP.

Maybe I’m just stupid but why would you get a dually but not the diesel? Seems kind of goofy to me. Maybe local landscaping outfits with a gooseneck and heavy equipment or something? What use case does that fill that a SRW gasser wouldn’t?

Wow. And you’re sure you’re a COVP retail order? I saw someone waiting this long had actually been put in as a fleet order by their dealer. Almost 10 months and not scheduled yet? Something is up.

It’s one way it can happen, albeit kind of crappy, obviously. The dealership can either float it on their books and take it off your price and wait for Ford to pay them, or make you pay sticker and pay you through Ford for the difference in <45 days.

Personally, I hate adaptive cruise. The shortest follow distance is still too far and it’s infuriating every time someone cuts in front of you, it slams on the brakes and slows you way down.

Trust me, I hear ya. I recently called my dealer and forced him to ask the inventory manager how many super duties they have on order and where I am in line. 2 Weeks ago he said they had 300+ on order and I was number 117. This is a high volume dealer in Central Texas known for selling primarily trucks (Mac Haik) Ford. But dang, that is still a lot of trucks ahead of me. Oh well. First world problems. I don't need the truck immediately. Just would be nice to have.

I take it all scheduling emails have gone out and I missed this batch? Anyone know what time those usually go out in the AM on thursdays when scheduling is said to occur that week?

Yes. My salesman called me. I said sure remove it if you can guarantee I’ll maintain my price level before all the increases. He said he can’t guarantee that. Ok then why even call me? I feel like I’m wasting my time even talking to this kid and not the sales manager.

They send them out Thursday morning, usually. For COVP orders you can get them whenever but I have not heard of someone receiving one except for on Thursday.

I see the scheduling was updated for next week. No super duty scheduling. Does this mean COVP orders will also not be scheduled? Like unscheduled orders across the board are not? Or are COVP orders always eligible to be scheduled? I know they can be scheduled any time of the week, not just Thursday like “normal” orders.

Any update on scheduling for next week?

Is it safe to say that scheduling notice wasn’t just for New York area orders? Did anyone get scheduled today?
