Just took the new F250 6.2 Super cab for a 120 mile excursion through the Oregon Coast Range and back. Averaged 16.5 mpg, and that included idling 45 minutes behind an accident with the air on! My old Tundra would have gotten 13.

Just thought I would add a picture of a mod update to my recently acquired F250 (2 weeks ago). Added a Warn winch on Westin winch tray. Less than 1K. Did the work myself.

Yes. It’s scheduled for Friday. They ran out of liner product or it would have been finished today.

I feel blessed today. The Beast is home. Tomorrow would have been six months from order date. There’s a lot of tech on this truck for this old guy to learn. My previous truck was a 2001. Still had a single CD and cassette player in it!!

They just called me in to sign papers. They honored original pricing and treated me with respect. Only a Spray-in bed liner to go.

Didn’t see the two-tone black…sorry. Sounds like the price protection isn’t going to be a problem. We settle up tomorrow. I’ll let you know.

Actually there were three Super Duty’s and all five belong to one salesman I think. At least four for sure!

Truck showed up at the dealer today: F250 SC XLT 6.2L Ordered 1/21 Confirmed 1/24 Built 6/16 Shipped 6/17 Arrived at dealer 7/16, one week shy of 6 months order to delivery.

That article also said they won’t start building Super Duty’s until January, 2023.
