  1. 6.2, upfitters, bed liner, XLT value package. Ordered 1-24-22 Delivered 6-17-22 Added Warn winch last week Got 17 mpg on a trip from the Willamette Valley to the coast last weekend.
  2. Finally!! Congrats on a great truck. Did they treat you right?
  3. 3.73 It also came with the 18” Goodyear Wrangler AT tires.
  4. Just took the new F250 6.2 Super cab for a 120 mile excursion through the Oregon Coast Range and back. Averaged 16.5 mpg, and that included idling 45 minutes behind an accident with the air on! My old Tundra would have gotten 13.
  5. Just thought I would add a picture of a mod update to my recently acquired F250 (2 weeks ago). Added a Warn winch on Westin winch tray. Less than 1K. Did the work myself.
  6. That’s the way my dealer handled it. Very happy,!
  7. Yes. It’s scheduled for Friday. They ran out of liner product or it would have been finished today.
  8. I feel blessed today. The Beast is home. Tomorrow would have been six months from order date. There’s a lot of tech on this truck for this old guy to learn. My previous truck was a 2001. Still had a single CD and cassette player in it!!
  9. They just called me in to sign papers. They honored original pricing and treated me with respect. Only a Spray-in bed liner to go.
  10. Didn’t see the two-tone black…sorry. Sounds like the price protection isn’t going to be a problem. We settle up tomorrow. I’ll let you know.
  11. Actually there were three Super Duty’s and all five belong to one salesman I think. At least four for sure!
  12. Truck showed up at the dealer today: F250 SC XLT 6.2L Ordered 1/21 Confirmed 1/24 Built 6/16 Shipped 6/17 Arrived at dealer 7/16, one week shy of 6 months order to delivery.
  13. That article also said they won’t start building Super Duty’s until January, 2023.
  14. That is my understanding. When I called Ford customer service and asked for rail car number, she couldn’t give it to me because the truck was at the rail destination according to her. Just because he can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not in the shop in final prep. My dealer has two or three shops for that which is not visible from the outside.
  15. He has always been kind to me. When I discussed priority levels, he didn’t seem to understand that the dealer has the ability to move from priority 19 to a lower number. He had to talk to his sales manager. Perhaps they are embarrassed that we common (forum) folk seemed to be more informed than the salesmen are. I told them to please not move me up in front of anyone else that was ahead of me. But after four months I requested that they move me to priority 10. They said that Ford would automatically move it back to 19. I asked them to test that theory, which they did. It stayed at 10 and about three weeks later it was scheduled for production. I’m sorry if he thinks I’m being a pain in his backside, but sometimes we have to advocate for ourselves. I’m not a “make waves” kind of guy. Here’s hoping that everything works out for both of us.
  16. The salesman has stressed several times to me that I’m price protected. Here’s to hoping I’m able to close the deal soon…and you as well.
  17. F250 XLT SC 6.2 built 6-16, shipped 6-17. Asked my salesman for my rail car number yesterday and he said he doesn’t know what a VVR is..He’s been selling for 30 years. He’s a decent guy, I blame the dealer and their training. I called FoMo customer service and Rosemary couldn’t provide a railcar number because…..she said it has already been received at the Portland rail destination 50 miles away from my dealer. It’s sad that the customer can…and has to access more info than the dealer can or will provide. What are they going to do when Ford goes to order only system. Only the informative dealers will survive…as it should be.
  18. There could be several reasons I’ve discovered having read this forum for 6 months: 1. His was scheduled before yours and parts are allocated until they run short. 2. People get their production bumped very often…some as many as ten times or more because of commodity restraints. 3. There are no scheduling time guarantees. 4. You may not be the highest priority on their list. 5. Your truck may not be EXACTLY the same as his with one or two different options that fall into parts shortages. In other words, no one knows except the scheduler at the factory and as we’ve all been told, “you’ll see it when it gets there,”
  19. Coming to the end of a long road…though not as long as some…
  20. Has anyone received a PCO recently. My hopes are fading…
  21. MIne is the same batch number: 6459 for the 16th. 1060/1359
  22. Scheduled for the week of the 13th…build day of the 16th. Window sticker appeared this morning.
