  1. So as I watch things unfold it becomes more frustrating. I seriously wish Ford would just peel the curtain back and be transparent with customers. My order finally got scheduled a month ago. Initially scheduled to be built next week. As I said it is a Priority 1 build. Ford says it has hot transportation on it and it should arrive 1 week after completion. I have been pushed back a few times and don't know who to believe right now. The RAV department says it is scheduled to be built on Tuesday, July 27th. Dealer and the las email from Ford says built week 8/8. Today I saw 2 trucks identical to mine in every way delivered to a local dealer. Order date was 2 weeks after mine. I also have seen several like equipped trucks as mine that were previewed and scheduled today for the same week 8/8 that were ordered the last day of March. (Last day to order) Can someone tell me exactly how my order was expedited?
  2. Mine is different. It has been a Priority 1 for 8 weeks. Email from Ford Regional Manager "I was able to get the priority code changed to an “01” which is the highest that any order can be and it says schedule it above dealer allocation and as soon as we can build the commodity"
  3. Thanks for the help. There are not literally thousands in the same situation. If so Ford has way more lemon vehicles that I thought. I have a lemon Ford has bought back and wants back but I have nothing and can find nothing to drive until they get my replacement vehicle.
  4. If you look at my original post I laid out my situation and asked the question. Ford, knowing my situation that this ordeal has been going on since January 2021, would move my "hot", "Priority 1", "Expedited" order would move my order out for the third time because of supply issues then drop a truck with the same options in place of mine. I keep getting from Ford, "we have no idea how that happened". All I got was should of, could of, didn't handle it right comments. Then Ice-capades stepped in and stated that most of what I posted could not be true. In fact it is all true. I am still trying to find someone in the Ford management are who can follow up and get this to the finish line. I have the RAV department wanting my F150 lemon back now but Ford can't seem to get my replacement vehicle delivered. Again, in Feb,March if I was not told by Ford and the dealer this should take 12 weeks I would not be so frustrated.
  5. It's rare ice-capades is silenced. He called me out, I proved enough info to support my claim and there is no excuse for the poor response I am getting from Ford. Hard to defend poor customer service.
  6. You can doubt me all you want. I have no reason to post information that is not true. Ford Motor Company Washington Regional Manager Parts, Service and Sales Operations Email, name and cell number removed for privacy This is who responds when you contact the Ford Board. I have a list of email addresses. She responds within a day or two. Karen Jones Executive Representative Ford Motor Company Executive Liaison -CCGO Probably because I had to file a complaint with the state lemon law to get them to respond. Once the state ruled in my favor Ford responded. Funny thing is after weeks in the service department with 9 issues including a broken axle bolt that they claimed to have trouble duplicating there are now TSB's or recalls for all the issues. I love Ford and wish them well, I am just tired of all the disorganization. My latest communication (Friday) says my build has been moved to w/o 8/8. I got a call a few minutes ago and they said my truck has been given a build day of 7/27. Who knows what to believe.
  7. I am on my 4th RAV person who is a "team lead". Neither the dealership owner nor I could get the first person to respond to emails or phone calls. That went on for more than 2 weeks. I finally reached out to Ford's board of directors who promptly had someone step in and get involved. That's when the Ford regional rep had to get involved. After that it seems like things started moving but it has been 1 step forward 2 steps back. Now it seems everyone in the ford organization including the plants are on vacation for 2 weeks. No one will respond to emails or phone calls. I am done begging them to sell me a 80K truck. I only buy about 6 vehicles a year and I guess Ford doesn't value that. Probably going to be driving my first Chevy by tomorrow evening.
  8. The RAV department told me they had Expedited the order and prioritized it. The Ford regional rep told me that wasn't the case. They never did. After weeks of going back and forth the regional rep petitioned Dearborn to get it moved and they did. The RAV department has been like dealing with Larry, Curly and Moe. I have never seen a group that double talks and lies like they do. My biggest question is how Ford can move my order out and back several weeks and then drop another truck lust like mine in the same slot? I have been driving Ford's my entire life purchasing more than 50 F15o trucks but tonight I am going to look at replacing mine with a Denali. I am tired of being bent over by Ford.
  9. I can tell you this from recent experience. My F150 2021 Powerboost is the worst truck I have owned in 45 years. 50 days out of service after it was lost 7 months waiting for chips. 7 trips to the service department and it was like pulling teeth to get them to trouble shoot the issues. One was a vibration/ shuddering at 65 MPH . Tech stated he test drove twice the truck and could not duplicate. Problem is the truck only had 6 miles added to the odometer from the day I dropped it. Tech later admitted he never drove it, was only looking for a code. The ironic thing after I went through the lemon law process and won a buyback, Ford now has a recall or TSB for every issue I was experiencing.
  10. Can anyone make reasonable sense to my situation. First, I am currently driving a 2021 F150 that Ford is on the process of reacquiring. It's a real lemon. March1 Ford entered an order for a F250 to replace this F150. Quoted 12 weeks. I have been in touch with the regional Ford rep, Executive team and RAV team. For some reason it took forever to be previewed and selected. Ford Rep had to move it to Priority 1. Since is has been scheduled the production was pushed back several weeks. When talking to Ford the problem was a couple parts were not available. Here is the question. Today a customer I talked to has basically the same truck ordered 3/30/22. Their truck was scheduled for my original week. If they weren't going to have the parts for mine how are they going to build his several weeks before mine? Why would Ford do that?
  11. Got it. But here is what I can not seem to reconcile. The regional manager said when the weekly or monthly number of orders that can be scheduled is determined. Lets sat its 500 a week. These are all numbers for the sake of discussion. This region gets 50. They have 20 dealers. The 50 trucks are not equally divided by the number of dealers. Some may get 10 and others get 0. This division is not tied to number of retail orders at all. Dealer A may have 100 verified orders and Dealer B may have 10. Dealer B may get 5 allocated and Dealer A may get 1. The dealer who has the most unscheduled validated retail orders has the incremental allocation but based on the criteria the regions availability number they may never get sone of their orders scheduled. You would think if Ford is going to give incremental allocation for retail orders they would divide the regions availability each week up by the percentage of verified orders from each dealer. For example. Dealer 1 has 100 orders, Dealer 2 has 40 orders and dealer 3 has 10 orders. If the region is given 15 trucks Dealer 1 should get 10, dealer 2 should get 4 and dealer 3 should get 1. But according to the Ford Regional manager it doesn't work that way at all.
  12. I can't understand how Ford really previews orders for scheduling. I spent some time on the phone with the regional Ford manager. They said this COVP is misunderstood. Each region still gets allocations. They are divided up between the dealers based on different incentives. The dealer does get additional allocation for the COVP order but still has restrictions. They said in this region a few dealers have COVP orders from November that simply have not been scheduled because they do not have allocation.
  13. His top 5 Lightning trucks are actually identical. Only #4 has been scheduled. It seems if Ford is moving to a Retail model they simply build them in order. If they have to set some aside for Commodity issues those are the next trucks built as soon as parts are available.
  14. I have read what Ford announced about the COVP allocations officially but from all the info I am privy to in reality they do not follow their announcement. For example explain how a dealer with few COVP orders will have an identical spec truck sit for months at Priority 2 while another dealer will get their order previewed and selected for build that has only been in the system for a few weeks. I have looked at my dealers list of COVP orders. They are in order of dated placed on order. Most have the common availibility issue features. Many are at Priority 2, 2 are at priority 1. Most are still clean, unscheduled. There is a random truck here and there that have been selected for production but there are 4-5 identical orders that are much older than the ones selected. How does that happen in your scheme? He has many F150 lightnings on order. All his top 15 trucks are equipped the same. They all are the same priority. He ahs had one selected for production and it is truck number 4 on his list. They all are COVP orders. Again explain how that happens.
  15. COVP orders are not initially moved to Priority 2, they stay at the priority given them by the dealers. It takes an action on Fords part to move the order up to a 1 or 2. I have seen COVP orders sit at 10 for months and months and they remain unscheduled in priority by Ford. clean and do not get moved up
