  1. I ordered my F250 King Ranch on 4 January 2022. 589 days (17 months & 12 days) later it arrived at the dealership outside of Austin. It was built on 8/4, shipped on 8/7 and arrived in San Antonio on 8/15 and trucked to Austin that night. It's an incredible truck; though the wait was frustrating the truck is definitely worth it. Additionally, Ford provided an amazing price protection offer. Its undergoing dealer prep who is ak=lso adding the spray in bedliner and ceramic window tint. I'll be driving it home late Friday PM.
  2. For one of the knowledgeable moderators: The Ford order tracker shows my 2023 KR scheduled for the week of 8/4/2023. I thought build schedules typically have a Monday start date. 1/4/2022 - order placed for a 2022 KR 1/5/2023 - order confirmed. 11/14/2022 - received notification the order was bumped to the 2023 model year. 11/14/2022 - ordered a 2023 KR. 5/11/2023 - received notice of week of 29 May build schedule. 5/16/2023 - received notice of week of 24 July build schedule. 6/6/2023 - received notice of week of 28 Aug build schedule. 6/20/2023 - received notice of week of 31 July build schedule. 7/25/2023 - Ford order tracker shows a 4 August build schedule.
  3. My KR order was also bumped from the week of 7/24 to the week of 8/28. I placed my original order on 4 Jan 2022 and was bumped to the 2023MY. The week of 8/28 is only five weeks from the balance out date of 10/1/23 for 2023 MY builds. Getting closer and closer to being bumped to a 2024.
  4. Update from Ford received yesterday evening. My 29 May production date slipped to the week of 24 July. Ordered a 2022 on 1/4/22 and was bumped to a 2023. 2023 order placed 11/14/22.  F250, King Ranch Star White, 7.3L Godzilla and moonroof.
  5. Finally, my F250 King Ranch has a production date for the week of 29 May! Received the notice from Ford on Thursday 11 May. Ordered a 2022 on 1/4/22 and was bumped to a 2023. 2023 order placed 11/14/22. "We are excited to let you know your 2023 Super Duty F-250 King Ranch Crew Cab has been scheduled for production. Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of May 29, 2023" F250, King Ranch Star White, 7.3L Godzilla and moonroof.
  6. I'm at 501 days on my King Ranch order. Initial order 1/4/22; bumped and ordered a 2023 on 11/9/2022. King Ranch with 7.3, 3.75 electronic axle, power moon roof, all weather mats and wheel well liners. Nothing extraordinary. I've asked the sales manager to check the regional schedule priority code...waiting for a reply.
  7. What problems have you heard of with the Star White paint? I have a 2023 KR 7.3L Star White on order (bumped from a 2022 which was ordered 5 Jan 2022).
  8. My salesperson called me and said Ford was bumping my King Ranch Ultimate (ordered 5 Jan 2022) to the 2023 MY. I did not receive any notifications from Ford.
  9. I was bumped to a 23 on 9 Nov. My dealer called me in the morning, and I went to the dealership that afternoon. My original 2022 order for a King Ranch ultimate was placed on 5 Jan 2022. How were y'all informed of the $5,000 discount from Ford for your 2023?

  11. I'm looking for an "unclaimed" 2022 F250, Lariat preferably, while I wait for my 2023 F250 King Ranch to be produced and shipped. I need an interim F250 to two my trailer to the Big Bend area in March then to the Black Hills in June. Since there are no guarantees the 23 KRU will be here by June, I'm considering purchasing a dealer ordered F250. I found a couple at Grangers website yesterday for around $76K on the window sticker. The price on the Granger website showed $86K which was confirmed by the salesperson I spoke to. They may have wiggled the price down for some of the special orders but are not budging on the price for these late dealer orders.
  12. LT75, are you suggesting reaching out to Ford corporate? I will contact the other dealer and see if they can take over the order and allocation. I have the same concerns on allocations and don't know if another dealership would let me horn in on their allocations. Yes the 23MY will only run for 9 months and they'll start up the 24My in October.
  13. My dealer called and told me I was being bumped to a 2023. I told him I would change my order form a King Ranch to a LAriat in order to get produced on Job 1. He firmly beleived I will be pushed to teh head of he production laine and Ford would offer some sort of PCO. I'm displeased with the lack of communcation from my dealer and felt like I was always pulling teeth. Can I switch dealers and still get priority ordering and the production PCO?
  14. Has anyone received any communication from Ford with info on how Ford intends to handle their unfilled 2022 MY Super Duty order? I have not received any communication regarding my 5 Jan 2022 confirmed order for a F250 King Ranch with the 6.7L engine and the ultimate package. I'm frequently in touch with the GSM at my dealership who says he's only getting the sound of crickets from Ford. The GSM believes I will be bumped to a 2023, thinks I will be price compensated and moved to the head of the 2023 production line but he admits he is only speculating. Many of us are getting the mushroom treatment "keep them in the dark and feed them bullshit" Let me know what y'all know.
  15. My salesman advised against gettng the bedline as it would lengthen delivery. I have LINE-X on my 2011 F150 and will go back to that shop when I receive my F250. I have a 6,800 Winnebago Voyage travel trailer and didn't need the 5th wheel prep. My 3.6 twin turbo F150 has enough powere for the TT though with a headwind or a slope the turbos are continually engaged. But the rear end of hte F150 gets squirrely when being passed or a side wind. Thus the need for a F250.
