  1. A lot of the posters need to simply read the information that's been provided and stop speculating and misinterpreting everything. The COVP program has absolutely nothing to do with vehicles in inventory and is NOT Model Year specific. The program applies to unscheduled retail orders, allows Ford to verify that retail orders are legitimate upon reviewing the required documentation... and helps Ford to expedite the scheduling of retail orders and rewards customers and Dealers alike by scheduling these retail orders with incremental allocation!
  2. Too many posts here are creating misinformation and unnecessary confusion. Production Week Scheduling is just that. Information on what weeks unscheduled orders will be scheduled for production. Production Timetable Information - Just what it says. 2021 Customer Order Verification Program (COVP) - It's the "2021" version of the program - NOT the 2021 Model Year
  3. This is the COVP program for 2021... not just for the 2021 Model Year!
  4. The COVP (Customer Order Verification Program) is not Model Year specific. The Dealer needs to upload the documentation and order information to Ford at the COVP site for verification.
  5. Your scheduled production week hasn't changed. The information in this thread applies to unscheduled orders only!
  6. No Maverick reservations yet but about 25 reservations for the F-150 Lightning. Forget the initial press coverage. Few people know anything about the Maverick or pay attention except for the enthusiasts. The average buyer doesn't pay attention until they're ready to enter the market and start doing research. The awareness will increase after production starts, vehicles start arriving at the dealerships and Ford starts advertising the Maverick. On average it takes a year for an all-new model for there to be enough inventory in stock and enough vehicles to be on the road for the new model to start gaining traction sales wise.
  7. Well... that's all that will be scheduled other than retail orders.
  8. You won't get any e-mail notices from Ford unless your Dealer included your e-mail address with your order.
  9. Ford inventory at the dealership level is going to get a lot worse over the next couple of months. My dealership's inventory is now down 85% from the usual stocking level. And to make matters worse... I just saw the new wholesale numbers for July production... 10 vehicles! 1 Mustang, 5 Bronco Sport's, 3 Ranger's, 1 Transit!
  10. Here's the information everyone's been anxious to read... the 2022 Maverick Production Information with the timetable and Job #1 Date! Since there's no Maverick Product Forum set up yet I'll post it here for now. 06/08/2021 - 2022MY Order Bank Open Date 07/15/2021 - 2022MY Scheduling Begins 08/16/2021 - 2022MY Job #1 Date This is a pretty tight timeline for an all-new model that was only just officially announced. I was expecting a late September Job #1 Date.
  11. Per Friday's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) here's the production timetable for the 2022MY E-Transit. 06/21/2021 - 2022MY Order Bank Open Date 09/16/2021 - 2022MY Scheduling Begins 11/08/2021 - 2022MY Job #1 Date

  13. Per Friday's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) below is the updated production timetable for the 2021/2022MY Edge 07/30/2021 - 2021MY Fleet Final Order Date 08/05/2021 - 2021MY Last Day to Spec Change 10/15/2021 - 2021MY Balance Out Date 08/29/2021 - 2022MY Order Bank Open Date 09/16/2021 - 2022MY Scheduling Begins 10/18/2021 - 2022MY Job #1 Date
  14. SCHEDULING TOOLBOX - SCHEDULING PLAN This is the tentative scheduling plan for the production period. This is just a guide for scheduling. This information is tentative and may change at any time. THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO UNSCHEDULED ORDERS ONLY. Blue Oval Forums_Production Week Scheduling_2021-06-14.pdf
  15. Ford's extensive marketing information has already given them the information they need to forecast the planned production mix for the Maverick. Any necessary adjustments will be addressed via commodity restraints until there's enough history to make longer term adjustments.
  16. VIN numbers don't necessarily correspond to the production sequence.
  17. Ford will update the ETA at the dealership as your order status progresses. Once the vehicle is produced and released for shipment, the average transit time to dealerships is 14 days.
  18. I've had a subscription to Adobe's Creative Cloud for years and now use Adobe Audition which is comparable to any of the other competitor's software and is updated monthly. Even with the professional video editing programs, the top level programs are very similar in features, functions and processes.
  19. Dealers aren't used to dealing with Ford enthusiasts like those that we try to assist here. And customers tend to rely on their sales representatives that are often not familiar with the retail order process, the information available, etc. and just rely and forward the information they're given. So true! The Ford Zone Managers are trained and conditioned to support the corporate position and get thrown when someone questions the validity of the information they're selling, etc. And let's not get started about how removed Ford executives are from knowing anything about the day-to-day operations at the dealership level. Had to give a lot of credit to Mulally when he became CEO because he actually spent time on the showroom floor talking to customers to learn firsthand what customers had to say.
  20. I don't see room at the Escape/Corsair plant (LAP) and no one knows what Ford's plans are for Flat Rock although it's important to Ford.
  21. Okay... understood! One of the studios I spent a lot of time with was Intermedia Sound on Newbury Street in Boston, Aerosmith's studio, although I worked on different projects there.
  22. You can't rely on most sales representatives to be familiar with the retail order process, the information available, etc. and they're not used to dealing with customers that are Ford enthusiasts. In addition, you won't get any e-mails from Ford unless your e-mail address is included with your order.
  23. Not all retail orders can be scheduled at the same time considering commodity issues and/or plant constraints.
