Trades Flowback

Locksmith

Recommended Posts

I was told by a previously reliable source that flow backs for Skilled Trades is projected to be available for people who have '83 or earlier senority. The rest (including me if this is true) will be JSPed. Those that are not picked up will be "forced out" at the end of this contract with a buy out. He says Ford's expects to pick up very few people who actually go to JSP.

Anyone else hear this rumor or something similar to it? The guy is usually trusworthy, but forcing people out at the end of contract seems like something the UAW wouldn't do.

Please don't get yourself all stressed out by these rumors.Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.

The same rumor to a degree went around about 2 years ago for production.Stating that only people with atleast 15 years could flow and the rest will be on indefinet layoff. That never happened now did it.The older folks love to rattle the chains of the lower seniority.
