range
VIDEO of Safety Problem Interesting video of the problem and Toyota's (lack of) response.
papilgee4evaeva
Downin took his truck to three different Toyota dealerships for an inspection. All three told Downin his Tacoma was operating as designed. Therein lies the problem. Crappy design somewhere. EDIT: I just watched the video... the dealers "noted the surge and called it 'normal operating procedure?'" Shipwright
Toyota will soon learn that it sucks to be #1. Being the largest manufacturer with massive profits paints a huge target on their backside that every lawyer in the country is just dying to hit. Just ask GM or FORD. I just noticed that the guy was driving a 5 speed stick. Wonder if it effects automatic Tacoma too or is the problem limited just to manual equipped Tacoma ?
