I bought it with 45k, and drove it until it had 88k on the odometer. It was fun to drive, and also very smooth riding. It had a better, less noisy ride than my 2006 focus. The only thing that I didn't like was the some times rough idle. In cold weather the interior would rumble when I was stopped at a light. I hear that a new ignition, or maybe just spark plugs can help that problem though. I sold the car because my wife needed an automatic. I never had any mechanical work done to the car. 630land Posted April 11, 2009 Share Posted April 11, 2009 ZX2 still has a strong following, teamzx2.com and feoa.net have many fans and the S/R is revered. They just do not like Focuses.
