Trying to wrap my head around the FE/FEH Order Process

Recommended Posts

Ok...just trying to get a better understanding of vehicle production and guesstimate when us easterners will start seeing Hybrids.

A = How many vehicles can roll off the Escpae assembly line per day/week

B = How many of those are Hybrids

C = How many Escape Hybrids (non fleet) have been commited by Ford to CA

D = How does Ford Handle Fleet production. Is there a set date when they will stop making consumer orders to fullfill fleet orders?

E = What date do you think Ford will start producing east coast orders

C/B=E +/- D

I can't answer all your questions, except to say that East Coast orders are in production (mine will be heading to VA - and I received my VIN last week), vehicles have been completed for places all across the country - not just the West Coast.

If I remembere correct your order was placed 5/8 and you got your VIN 7/18 and production began around 6/23.

25 Days from line production start to VIN.

71 Days from order to VIN
