Thank you, Hi fordemdb. :D Assuming the VIN you gave ViperPilot is correct (3LNHM26T09R605536), it is a 2009. But, it was produced on 6/19/08. The 10th digit (9) indicates model year. If you have the correct VIN, it would seem that MKZ was ordered approximately 5/19/08 and arrived at a Dealership (somewhere) on 7/1. Since there is no "Sold Date" listed, it has been sitting on a Dealer lot since then. When your Dealer receives the MKZ (looks like it will be a transfer from another Dealership) take a look at the Production Plate on the driver side door jamb. It will list the date (month/year) of manufacture. Then you can question your Dealer as to correct dates.
