Doesn't matter one way or the other. Where you bought it is irrelevant other than building goodwill with the dealer. Your local dealer can and will perform any warranty work necessary. The only place it might come into play is if you need an AWA - After Warranty Adjustment - that's up to the dealer and they're more likely to grant it if you bought it from them (but not a requirement).
