mlhm5 Posted December 3, 2008 Share Posted December 3, 2008 (edited) If we owned it, from this point forward, we could build only cars that are not primarily dependent on oil, something GM will never do if you give them $18 billion. Also a US owned GM could build more build trains, buses, subways and light rail which figures heavily into the new president's plan. We will give GM $18 billion and they immediately fire 20k workers.
