It looks like the MKT(in my opinion) will just be another failure like the chrysler pacifica. I thought the MKT was supposed to be the leer jet of the road, this looks nothing like that. The side and front and rear all looked better on the concept, and more leer jetish, the actual car looks nothing like a leer jet. It just looks like the mks jumped in a blender with the flex and mkx and whala the MKT. Second, I happen to think it looks good. I think the concept looked better in some ways (the front), but the production model looks better in others (the hip flare). rcf8000 Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 I think that it looks very good. The changes they made to the rear of the car from the concept are all to the good. I can see why people would say that it won't succeed in the marketplace because the Pacifica didn't succeed. The big problem with the Pacifica was lack of refinement, imo.
