ray101988
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how much longer the 5.4L was sticking around and what some possible replacements for it might be. I was thinking the 5.0L thats being worked on for the mustang. Anyone hear anything else?. Thanks.

blazerdude20
well, the diesel program is on schedule and it is also dead depending on who you talk with. the "boss"6.2l v8 will be in the raptor f150 later this year. eco-boost 3.5l v6 is coming my10/11 would be a good guess Edited January 10, 2009 by blazerdude20
ray101988
I think the dieselconfusion is over( news at 13 Jan 2009) and as the Navistartrouble now is over we can expect full ahead on the Chihuahua-plant. http://www.reuters.com/article/rbssConsume...342512720090114 both on the coming scorpion 6.7-liter V8 for the SuperDutys and the 4.4-litre V8. They are expected to arrive already this August. I thought it was put on hold because of the higher price of diesel and the sudden drop in the price of regular unleaded?
