rstang1999 Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 I'm looking into buying a new f150 screw, but I'm a little worried about the road vibration problem that some owners are reporting. After the run around I got from Ford with the 1999 Cobra I'm being a bit cautious. So a few questions if you own an 04 - 06 screw. 1. Do you have a road vibration problem? If you do - A. What bed length? B. 4WD or 2WD? C. What brand of tires are on the truck? D. Did balancing or changing the tires fix the problem? Dealer balanced the tires and replace the driveshaft damper ?? . Fordf150josh Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 I have a 2004 F-150 Supercrew 4x4 Lariet. I have had the vibration in the begining, rotated tires and ballanced and the problem went away. It was not real noticible as what some have said. Mine was very light.
