30 OTT 6
Here is a good article on the new Jaguar AJ-V8 GENIII engine. This is the first article I've read on Jag's new 5.0L V8. If you read the article, the cams use the same torque actuated variable cam timing that Ford is bringing online on their engines. Which begs the question, are there any other similarities between this 5.0L V8 design and the 5.0L Coyote V8 that Ford will be lauching within the next few years? RichardJensen
Biggest similarities are the deep skirt/cross bolted design and 'ratcheting' VCT. Biggest differences are centrally located injectors & the valley mounted super charger.

Well, I'm sure that with the sale, there was an agreement that Ford would continue to sell some parts and components to Tata for a few years. If this is a shared block with the Coyote, I wouldn't be surprised.
