SH3
Down south of Texas a couple hundred miles , available is the 2009 Ford Focus ST with the inline 5 Duratec 2.5 with 225hp and it's in a body a whole lot different looking than the 2008-2009 USA Focus . Can anyone say why Ford did not make this available in N America for this model year ? http://www.ford.com.mx/vehicles/homevehicle.asp?idModel=FST

Ford US chose update the old design for 2005 rather than switch to this new one. It is a totally different car. For 2011, the US and Euro Focus will become the same car again and Ford will sell the same design Focus all over the world. P.S. If you like that car, go buy a Mazda 3. The 3 is based on that platform.

Aside from that the next generation Focus which will be a global car is expected to make its debut sometime in the later part of 2010. P.S. If you like that car, go buy a Mazda 3. The 3 is based on that platform. The Mk2 Focus and the Mazda 3 have the same basic platform, but the Mk2 Focus seems to have better NVH and a slightly smoother ride (like that of a bigger car). I'm just not sure about the new 2010 Mazda 3, I still haven't driven one yet, but I heard they made a lot of improvements.
