tblackwood
Hello, I'm buying an F350 soon but the Lariat package is too expensive for us. So we are looking at an XL. Curious if any of you have fabric or heavy duty vinyl seats and how they are holding up? Thanks!
Hydro
I don't know how how much this will help but my 03 had fabric and it held up nicely. I was also very careful with it and used a windshield cover during the summer (those folding things that are blue on one side and gray on the other). Hell, I'm still using the same windshield cover in my Edge. I also had tinted windows. I don't know if any of that helped keep it nice but, I'm pretty sure it didn't hurt. We have sort of decided on vinyl, due to the fact we can wipe it clean...did your tinted windows come as an option or did you add them later? Hydro
It was a crew cab, so all the windows except driver and passenger side were already done. I had a tint shop do the two fronts for like $40. I think 20% was the best match to make them all look the same. The vinyl should be fine. It holds up well on a few trucks out at work. The fabric trucks seem to get torn before the vinyl does. It's an oil refinery so we aren't kind to the equipment either.

We wanted leather but it was out of our budget. I like the warmth of fabric but my hubby likes practicality :-)
