MKII
After one month this agent seems pretty impressed. I like how he calls it a premium small car. "When I introduced you to the Ford Fiesta I’m driving as part of the automaker’s http://tiny.cc/ytj2j Fiesta Movement, I teased you with tidbits on the car that Ford hopes will put Americans in a premium small car. This time, let’s climb into the driver’s and passenger’s seats for an in-depth look at the place where I spend the most time" http://tiny.cc/yMtHf Edited May 30, 2009 by MKII

focus05
The goal appears to be to have it slot similar to where the Fit does but then offer more content and potentially selections of engines/suspensions than the Fit and rival Mini at the top end eventually. I'd expect pricing to start around $13-14k and max at $21-22k. I could also see an ST version run closer to $25k with, say, a 1.6 ecoboost and high-end tire and suspension jobs. It'd probably still get 40 mpg highway, though, and people would eat it up.
