Six other small or mid-sized models using Fiat underpinnings are set to be designed, named, and built by Chrysler and according to the report will not share any sheetmetal with their European cousins. The spokesman stressed that the new Chryslers will not be re-badges and will be designed and built by Chrysler for the U.S. market. First time I've heard that...though I think we'll be lucky to see them in less then 48 months....and Chrysler might be dead by then...
