In addition, please let me know what features you love and which features you wish you had. Lastly, what do you think could be done to improve the Sport Trac? Thanks for your help. falconman13 Posted September 29, 2009 Share Posted September 29, 2009 I had a Sport Trac back when they first came out. I found it to be a very good vehicle for what it was intended. The bed is small, but with the tail gate down I was still able to haul my motorcycle. The only drawback was the mileage. I averaged about 18MPG, When I moved 45 miles away from the office, that wasnt going to cut it for a daily driver. All in all I really liked it. I have done the usual intake, exhaust and computer performance mods and am very pleased with the driveability improvements. An additional foot of bed length would be nice but then it wouldn't fit as well in my garage. I have hauled my ATV with the tailgate down. Also hauled a new Ingersol-Rand upright air compressor home from Tractor Supply with no issues. Performance and fuel mileage are more than acceptable with the V8.
