  1. Title says it all, I know , I know, I know, There's no market, no one wants a 2 door, Ive heard it all, but that's why this is called a wish list.
  2. The Maverick was STONE reliable, It was cheap, for sure, but it was just the evolution of the original Mustang. The 200 I6, C4 Auto are among the most reliable engine transmission combination ever made. Simple, yes, high tech, NO, but to call it unreliable is just flat out wrong, And Yes, I have had more than 3 or 4 of these in my lifetime
  3. I know this is a crap rendering, but I did it in like 5 minutes so..... In any case I think you can get feel for what it would look like with body color cladding. Looks a little more like a gen 2 sport trac IMO
  4. I had a Sport Trac back when they first came out. I found it to be a very good vehicle for what it was intended. The bed is small, but with the tail gate down I was still able to haul my motorcycle. The only drawback was the mileage. I averaged about 18MPG, When I moved 45 miles away from the office, that wasnt going to cut it for a daily driver. All in all I really liked it.
  5. Well Since this birth cert states it was issued by the "Republic of Kenya" which Kenya did not exist as a Republic until December 1964, I would have to make the logical assumption that it is fake.
  6. IMO he has already kept more in his first 48 hours than W did in 8 years
  7. So, what they are saying is , its no better than a 10 year old Lexus? So how is that good? I have never sucked a dick, but am sure I dont need to, to know I dont want to. Some things are just obvious.
  8. I like it, I think it looks like a roller skate.
  9. What I find most ironic is that the biggest complainers of the Fusion are those that have never owned one, driven one for any length of time, and probably don't have 2 nickels to rub together so couldn't afford one anyway. Blackhorse admitted to driving a Jeep for Christ's sake, And yes, I have owned Jeeps, 2 to be exact. Neither of which was anything to brag about.
  10. Its a scam, This is based on Browns Gas, which has been around for a long time. It doesnt work.
  11. There was no 5.0 in 1965. At least not that I am aware of. 260, 289 yes, but no 302. Certainly no roller HO 302 like in 95
  12. How do you know they didn't? Ford could have take the exact seat from a Volvo and bolted it into the MKS and "critics" like PC and P71 would bash it as cheap, uncomfortable and unsafe. Now, I am not saying that Ford did this, I am only saying that too many people snap judge on what "others" say. Its the Rush Limbaugh mentality. "If Rush says it, it must be true" Don't let facts or good judgment cloud your bias. You cant please everyone, some people have misguided bias and no matter what you say or do, they will not recognize the facts.
  13. Maybe so, but there are plenty of places in the country where the grid would support it. What California has to accept is if they want to drive, and dont want to use gas, then they have to quit protesting every new power plant that is proposed. I dont know why people are opposed to a plug in hybrid. Personally I think its a better solution than all electric as it gives an all electric mode for short commutes while allowing a traditional Hybrid drivetrain for longer trips
  14. I think you are right Borg It seems that Hybrids were the rage when they first came out because they made an "impression" Now, I think with gas getting close to 4.00/gal , they are making sense and people who don't care to make a fashion statement are considering them for a more practical reason.
