thought i saw a R&D vote somewhere but i can't find it now....

THIS WAS COPIED FROM THE LOCAL 245 WEBSITE, THAT IS FORDS RESEARCH AND ENGINEERING PLANT IN DEARBORN. IS THIS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR? I'VE ALREADY CALLED, THEY CAN'T GIVE ME EXACT FIGURES.

The Ford R&E Ratification Vote results are as follows:

Skilled Trades 87 % No (Modifications Defeated)

Non Skilled 90% NO (Modifications Defeated)

One e mail I saw from Chicago Assy. says 759 no, instead of 749???

Anyway it's all good.

I GOT MY NUMBERS FROM THE CHAIRPERSON AT LOCAL 551. I CALLED HIM PERSONALLY.

YES-245

NO-749

THERE ARE ALWAYS ROOM FOR ERROR WHEN YOU GET NUMBERS FROM SO MANY DIFFERENT SOURCES. AS LONG AS WE'RE CLOSE, I THINK WE'LL BE ALRIGHT..

I'll shut the fork up about Gettlemiddlefinger if LAP/KTP vote no on this contract. He's protected those plants for years, one is landlocked. Nothing wrong with protecting jobs, but he should have been protecting ALL of us, not just his home plant.

IF his home plant bounces the vote, Getmiddlefinger will look like a giant ass and I love it. I think it will pass there, he's coddled those plants for years. No offense to those who work there, it's just the way he plays the game.

LAP is voting it down also & I would sure like to know what he has done for us, we have a whole shift laid off when we were told if we voted yes on the last mods that no one would be laid off until the re-tool for our new product. The Explorer is what kept this plant kicking up until 911, not Gettlefinger. Results will be in soon.
