TBodette68
Does anybody here know if the Ford retirees are going to lose their Dental and eyeglass insurance coverage like G>M> and Chrysler retirees have already?
KC BOB
Does anybody here know if the Ford retirees are going to lose their Dental and eyeglass insurance coverage like G>M> and Chrysler retirees have already? I don't think so but down the road if the VEBA financial performance can't keep up with the expenses those will probably be lost. In any event I would hope that we get prior notice to coverage being terminated to make our own adjustments....

So if the investments are doing good then the stock will be doing good and adjusted accordingly!

How about probably so since VEBA is still not fully funded and they dont need our vote to cut it or keep it. After all one more thing to achieve their precious parity. MSchmi
I think you can probably consider that to be your "prior notice!"

bigredogre
i believe they are switching providers on that at the first of the year for the retirees. but don't forget if veba is not funded and they make cuts now it will be the UAW doing those cuts.
