His son Matt Payton currently plays college baseball for WKU. He is a finalist of 10 for the prestigious Lowe's Senior class award. Tim Tebow(college football) and Da'Sean Butler(college basketball) won it this year. So this is a big deal for him and his family. You can help a Card fan,alumnist and fellow Kentuckian by voting daily for him through May31st. One of three criteria left to win is how many votes he receives?
