Ti-VCT 3.5 285hp V6 in 2012 Taurus???

Dear Ford:

 

I have owned FOMOCO products exclusively for over 30 years.

 

I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider putting the 3.5 285hp Ti-VCTV-6 now available in the 2011 EDGE in the 2012 Taurus.

 

I don't need the hp and cost of the SHO and a few more hp and maybe even better mpg would really seal the deal for me.

 

BTW thank you SO MUCH for the climate controlled front seats!!!

They'll do it whenever they make other changes that require re-certification and re-testing. Otherwise it's too costly. Patience.

Thank you, akirby, for you prompt response. Your response makes me think of the fact in 2012 my state, the Peoples Socialist Republic of California, there will be tougher emissions and that might very well induce the need to re-certify in Ca. at least.
