Kajaani
Does anyone have se real world numbers on mileage. HWY
spunkymonky
Yes this is very confusing. The EPA numbers are 16 and 22. The canadian truck window stickers say 20 and 29. Ford's commercials keep advertising 31mpg HWY??? So what 's going on here?

I assume the commercial is advertising the 31 mpg as the best available MPG which is with the 3.7L V6, not the 3.5 ecoboost. Unless the commercial specifically says 31 mpg with the Ecoboost engine. spunkymonky
I assume the commercial is advertising the 31 mpg as the best available MPG which is with the 3.7L V6, not the 3.5 ecoboost. Unless the commercial specifically says 31 mpg with the Ecoboost engine. It does actually. It's all about the marvels of the ecoboost in the f150. No other engine is mentioned in that commercial. Maybe I'm nuts but I've seen it twice and thought, that's not right. Edited February 8, 2011 by spunkymonky

The Pathfinder
Do you think the 2012 raptor will have ecoboost aval? Nope...I think they will stay with the big iron in that one
Tatunka
The guys that drove from Chicago to show off the Ecoboost said they were getting 24mpg (avg) going 70mph with cruise. I wonder what Ford was shooting for? I t was kinda disappointing to see the 15/21 EPA estimate come out. I was hoping for more like 18/24, but it is a heavy truck.
