NickF1011 Posted March 23, 2011 Share Posted March 23, 2011 I have the Sony sound system in my Edge. It's definitely better than most factory setups. I wouldn't put it on par with the higher level setups in luxury cars, but it's pretty good. Puts the Mach 460 that used to be in my Mustang to shame. Jvrad3 Posted April 12, 2011 Share Posted April 12, 2011 I have the Sony stereo in my 2010 FX4, and all I can say is that I did not spec it in the order I placed for a 2011 F150. I am not impressed with the sound, especially since you lose rear floor space for the subwoofer. On the other hand, I was impressed with the sound system in the 2011 Explorer that I test-drove so it may just depend on what you are looking for.
