smokeater1
My 2012 GT came with the 18" polished wheels. I would like them chromed and have read about exchange chrome wheels. My question is will chroming wheels like mine with a lot of radius curves last very long ? I like the wheels but I can already see up keep on polising will be a pain. Chrome looks better and will be easier to clean. Anyone try chroming these wheels yet ? Thanks...
NickF1011
It's generally too pricy to take non-chrome wheels and get them chromed, especially when talking about cheaper OE pieces. You'd probably be better off just buying another set of chrome wheels and selling your originals.

As long as you are buying from somewhere reputable, in a lot of cases aftermarket wheels are actually of higher quality than OE pieces. They were done very well and I had no problems with them. And yes you are so right, they are easier to clean and nothing looks better than chrome. hope this helps.......... There is a wheel shop about 45 min. from me that does the local MBZ wheels for the dealer. Think I will drive over and at least have them give me a price. Thanks for your input...
