GM Flint Truck 598 Passes Agreement

GM Truck in Flint Michigan voted overwhelmingly in favor to help less fortunate plants that needed investments. Even though the UAW announced an agreement that committed a Flint Truck $400,000,000 investment in July of 2011 these members understood other locations were not so fortunate.

Good job Flint Truck Local 598. Looking out for your Brothers and Sisters in poverty plants and insuring they too will get products and investment commitments is an unselfish act

Great news. Bargaining over 6,000 jobs is a feat all its own.

What is the timeline for the entire UAW vote at GM?

You would hope they voted for job security. All evidence points to them helping the less fortunate plants understanding they got their product investments in July

Media sources are expecting the GM agreement to pass. A good story reflecting back to the dark days for the D3 in December 2008 and how our story could have ended tragically.
